This is my 3rd time ordering 100fy led room lights, first time my daughter lost the white plug part and the remote rendering them useless to us but for Christmas her little sister asked for some for her room, I decided not to go w the cheapest but not the most expensive I went in the middle, second day having them up and half of them already stopped working! I bought the sister that already had lights these the cheapest ones I could find bc I thought I could just use the white plug, I couldn't so I just ropes then down and put these in place, they're made better the the more expensive ones and they already out lasted them. Love the lights. The remote is a great way to change the colors and set to your liking. Installation was pretty easy. If you need to connect more lights you have to get the piece that connects them separately. Overall I am pleased with the GUPUP lights. The only issue I faced was that there is some confusion with the lights that I got which is the 100ft but it only says 30ft so you get two rolls and it’s only 60ft not 100ft and it’s not in the same box as pictured. I like these LED strips but I will probably have to buy a different set. On a 5 star scale they are 4 due to ease of use and overall colors, however the music mode leaves much to be desired and the feasibility to find connectors is tough. These strips are 8mm while the average connector is 10 mm. This will cause changes in the colors where you put the connectors, as well as endless frustration. If you do get connectors a key point will be to put the strips in the connectors first before attaching to the wall. That way you can ensure that the lighting stays consistent. Thus, EMPHASIS buy the right connectors. Then ensure proper light connection before adhering to the wall. If you have issues adhering to the wall, clean your surface once more and dry it again. I found that when I had adhesion issues it was because there was either some cleaning solution or dust left over. Once you do that, they should stick properly with no issue. Colors are consistent when the connection is good. However, with the music function I found that the light did not beat at the tempo of the music and would sometimes just be dark with pops of light. Remote wise I love that I can control it by my phone. As I tend to forget where I put controls, just a bad habit but a habit none the less. Overall, it was a learning experience for me and for the price, it is an excellent choice. However if you want to go more elaborate with your lighting experience I would suggest a different brand. ... show more

These lights were easy to set up, i honestly wasn't sure if I'd have enough but i did, one role has a little less than the other so that was a surprise. Thinking I'm not going to have enough then finish setting up the other role and i actually had a good foot or so of extra! they look so cool i really love them. my walls were done with this white stuff that you smear on to cover cracks forgot what it's called but it was all dropped onto the trim where i planned to put the lights with that in mind, i had to wash it all off and clean everywhere i was going to put the lights as to make sure they would stick and in the instances where i missed some it just made the lights less sticky so i opted for some wall mounting putty and that seemed to help, i ordered the 100 ft one the trim measured roughly 900 inches all the way around if that helps. my one dislike is that the music pairing only works with apple music which i don't use at all. I use Spotify and amazon music, i would love it if the developers would update the app and add either those options as well or the ability to connect with multiple platforms. Sadly, my account isn't showing any of the songs I purchased through iTunes before so i have to figure out how to transfer them to my phone from my pc. My previous led setup had a lot more options on the remote for different settings, like red and green together and other colors so i do find this one a little underwhelming in that respect considering i got the previous one off of wish. while setting up i had the lights plugged in but off i would touch certain parts on the strip and the lights would dimly light up as if i was completing a circuit and even brighter when i touched metal it was really neat to play with while setting up hahaha. These lights work good and put off a good effect. There are a lot of different settings with the remote. You can expect different LEDs of different colors to go out here and there as they age but they still give a good effect and are well priced. Liked how these lights are easy to put up and love how they look! Disappointed at how fast they can detach though. I know the instructions say to put them on flat smooth surfaces, but a lot of houses have walls with texture. Would like it if there was either a stronger adhesive or the option of nailing them to the wall if desired (without damaging the wiring on the strip). Used some double sided tape for extra hold. The company was great to deal with when the first order of these lights had a defect (one strip was two toned colors, instead of solid). I exchanged them and there was no hassle. Fast shipping as well on the exchanged item. Overall it was a good experience and love how the lights look in the room. Tried uploading a photo, but had some issues with my phone. Would recommend this item as long as you have back up adhesive or can figure out another way to keep them attached (if you are using them on a textured surface). ... show more
