This monocular has actually grown on me since i have mounted it to a helmet and gotten used to the settings on the app & the unit itself. Definately far from military grade but with the IR set on level 3, i can see the livestock at the treeline 300 yds away and with my IR illuminator on narrow spread, 500 yds easy. What I actually see through the view finder is slightly better quality than the screenshots captured. The mount took some trial and error getting it in perfect position to my eye. Unlike others, this mount is actually Metal & not flimsy plastic. If you are looking for a budget good basic digital night vision monocular with sturdy and solid mount that works perfect for what it is, this one is a good unit. If you want ultra HD military grade white phosphorus tubes, then you are looking in the wrong price range. For the price, this in my opinion it an Exellent choice. ... show more
