  • Incredible value.
Color: Greige and Black Size: 7-9 Guitars
Order came in a VERY small box and i was worried that I got sent the wrong item, but once I opened her up I was extreamly happy with the quality of the packaging. Each piece is grouped and labeled individually with a sticker stating which part is #1,#2,#3, etc. It took me about 20ish minutes the set up, and the tools came with the kit. Compared to other stands I've tried it is a FANTASTIC bang for your buck that honestly can't be beat. I had considered building something myself first, but theres no way I could've built something that is this sturdy, and good looking without eaisly spending twice to three times as much money, and more importantly time!!! The side hangers are the icing on the cake, i recently bought an Eart headless guitar, and none of my other stands will hold it since the body is an ergonomic design. both hangers coome with hardware to mount to a wall if chosen to not use them on the stand itself (screws and anchors). I chose to use one hanger and slide the other side against some shelving I'm using as an amp rack. ***NOTE*** The quality of the foam seems to be fine, it is very thin. I remedied this by using some pipe insulation that I cut, and wapped around the existing foam. I wouldn't trust this for a thin nitro finish or anything like that, but for your average poly finish it should be fine. Will update with photos when time allows. ... show more

  • Attractive piece and sturdy
Color: Greige and Black Size: 7-9 Guitars
Seems very sturdy. Just know that it will hold 7 guitars in the center as long as they're not a bunch of Les Pauls or thicker body styles. PRS and Fenders no problem. All in all its a pretty sound investment and easy to assemble

  • Hmmm. Good execution; design not as practical as one might wish.
Color: Greige and Black Size: 7-9 Guitars
First and foremost: I tip my hat to someone who realizes that a shelf above a guitar rack is desirable. Not only is it practical (picks, capos, Hello Kitty nightlight, etc.), but it softens the visual impact if you are putting this in a place with high visibility. This is made with solid bars and a good-enough veneered piece for the shelf. What isn't so good: spacing. Just not adequate. Others have mentioned that it's too short for most basses (it is), and that any guitar with a trem arm will take more space than allocated. That's just poor design; many of the world's most-popular guitars have trem arms. Most worrisome to me is the relatively high center of gravity, vs. the legs. I collect guitars; I have a great many guitar stands built to accommodate 7-12 guitars. Almost all of them feature a design where the center of gravity is lower, so if you backed into it, hit it with the vacuum, an excited dog brushes against it, etc., it doesn't move. I worry that this would tip over. I also am not about to test out that concern. I do have plenty of slimmer-profile guitars to where I can use this is in a limited-access studio environment, but I doubt that's what most people would be seeking. ... show more

  • Great for home studios and shallow guitars. Assembly is extensive.
Color: Greige and Black Size: 7-9 Guitars
I felt my happiness slip away when I opened this and saw how many pieces there were. You will be constructing every single part of this stand, and know that not one piece extends the width of the stand on it's own. That includes the top "wooden" piece. It is two separate pieces that you join together with metal bars and bolts, and no effort was made to give an aesthetic transition between the two. That said, at least one of the support bars extends past the middle joint, which should make it strong. The assembly directions were really, really good. I assemble things almost daily as a Vine reviewer, and I don't think I've ever been able to say that. They make sure you get the holes and orientation right on every step. With a zillion Allen screws and only one end of an Allen wrench provided, I did have hand/wrist cramps by the time I was done. Once assembled, the stand is more compact than I thought, and you can choose to mount the side hangers on the wall to further reduce the footprint if desired. The spacing between guitar slots is definitely intended for electric guitars or basses, but you can easily remove one of the padded support rods to accommodate acoustics as well. The bottom cradle isn't angled, so everything pretty much stands up straight. There is about 3" of clearance between the top and my bass when in the cradle, so I do wish it was just a bit taller as I'm sure I will smack the neck on the top more than I should. All of that said, once it's together, it feels solid and sturdy. The adjustable leveling feet are a nice touch, and though the assembly is extensive, it doesn't feel overwhelming because the directions are so good. I think it's a good value overall and perfect for home studios. ... show more

  • Decent guitar stand/rack but can be a bit wobbly
Color: Greige and Black Size: 7-9 Guitars
Bought this for my son who has multiple guitars and bass. There were a lot of parts to put together so time consuming to build. The rack is a bit wobbly but good enough to store multiple guitars on. It met my son's need for the time being. it was easier that putting guitar hooks on the wall.
