This desk is made of almost 100% wooden pieces, its heavy and gives you a feel of furniture, the way it used to be! We received it promptly in time for online school!!! This desk is perfect. The hardware on the drawers is 100% metal and sturdy. I had some concerns but they don't deserve to knock a star off this product. 1. The hardware (read screws and nuts) seems to be made of cheaper material. Go easy when you try to tighten screws or nuts. I had one broken lock nut since I wasn't sure how much pressure is needed to lock the thing in. 2. 2 of the pieces were mislabeled. Their size and positions of groves and holes, helped in identifying where they belong. But there are multiple parts where if this happened you might just screw up the desk the wrong way. 3. Lastly there is a fresh paint smell to it which is fine for me but some might not be happy with it. Cheers!

The desk is very well made and so cute for our 7 year old! She’s been very motivated to do her homework after school now. It wasn’t too bad to build. Definitely takes some time.

I ordered this for my middle schooler. She put the whole thing together without any help, so that speaks to ease of setup. However it's smaller than I expected it to be. I don't think this will last her until college. I feel like by the time she's in high school this will need to go to a younger sibling and I'll need to get her something more full sized. Cute desk though. Just pay attention to the dimensions.

This desk was purchased for an eight-year-old, who should get several years of use out of it. The desk is big enough for a laptop computer, with space left for books, etc. Assembly was fairly simple, although it took two people to attach the shelf unit to the desk top. It is very solid and heavy.

The desk + chair combo is a nice set for my 6 year old. The assembly was tough. I had a part with missing holes which made it impossible to finish the assembly. I contacted the seller who promised to send in the replacement part, still waiting on that. I think for the high price of the item, there should not be any errors which prevent customers from assembly, hence the 3 stars.

I like the table and the finish of it. Only thing is its little tricky and time consuming assembling. My son likes it very much. Would suggest the manufacturer if they could post some youtube video on assembling.
