Bit slips right out of the collet until cinched in chuck. Be careful of sharp bits while tightening

I bought this for my only 4mm mill bit. While it works, it does not grab/hold onto the bit before tightening it in the chuck. What this means for me, is I usually get stabbed by the bit because I'm trying to hold the bit (0.1mm tip) in the collet while using two wrenches to tighten the chuck. Most often, it will fall out and stab me, or hit the spoil board and damage the tip. 3 stars because it works fine once it is in place in a tightened chuck. I'm using this on a Snapmaker 2.

Dont even waste your time!!

Ordered 7 different sizes from Uxcell. They all came out like this. Total run-out @ 1" protrusion is around .250". Not even usable in a rotary grinder because of the extreme run-out. STAY AWAY!!
