We use this Delta Children MySize Chair Desk in our living room since we hang out there a lot, and it’s been a great addition for my toddler. My son will be starting kindergarten soon, and this will be super useful for practicing sitting at a desk to color, write, and read while staying close to us. The size is perfect for a toddler, low enough for him to get in and out independently while giving him enough space for snacks, crafts, and practice work. The build quality feels sturdy and stable, and I feel comfortable letting him climb in and out or lean while coloring. Assembly took me about 40 minutes to build by myself. The instructions were clear, but figuring out which screws to use was sometimes a little confusing, though manageable once I laid everything out. The grey finish looks clean and modern, blending in with our living room without looking out of place, and it wipes down easily after snacks or art time. The storage bin under the seat is super handy for keeping crayons, coloring books, and small toys organized, and the cup holder is useful for markers or water bottles. I also appreciate that the desk is easy to move around if I need to adjust its position in the living room or slide it out for vacuuming, while still being heavy enough that it doesn’t tip easily. For the price, this desk is excellent value for money. Follow up. Four years ago I wrote the following review, and my granddaughter has been using this white desk every single day since she first started sitting in this desk. She’s used it as a desk, a place to eat in the living room, while looking at picture books, and then doing her homework, etc. It has held up really well with only a few dings in the top, that were accidentally made by us, and not a defect in the desk. In case anyone wonders about it holding up long term. Ours certainly has. This is a cute little desk, my grandson age sixteen put it together for his little sister age two. It took him a couple hours to build it and it’s something that she enjoys. The seller’s were great and the item arrived as described. The only con for me is it’s size which is really big. I should have taken that seriously because it’s way too big for my small condo and doesn’t fold up to put away. I’ve placed it on my patio for now. I think any preschool would love these little desk chairs because I’m certain it can be used for kids up to kindergarten age, maybe even those kids too. It’s a good place to study or eat a meal or snack. If you have a large enough space for them to stay up, I think they’re a great idea for this propose. I wish my living room was larger than the 12x12 size I have now and my furniture takes up the room and this little chair is used throughout the day by my granddaughter so it’s sad that I had to move it outside. I’m worried about the weather destroying it. I’ll probably find a place inside a closet to move it in and out when my granddaughter is with me everyday. Oh and I do make a request that they’re made with a cut out to put your hands in at the back of the chair to lift it up and not have to drag it by the edge. There’s no place to grab onto it, and I can’t leave it in one place so it makes it really hard to move and it creaks when I do because it’s really heavy once it’s set up. A simple 2x4 routers cut out would allow me to slip my fingers in and lift it with my hand and if it had this I would rate it five stars. We have 2 of these in our house. They have been the best additions to snack time and craft time. The drawer underneath serves as the perfect place to hold crayons and coloring sheets. It is sturdy and can handle a crazy 3 year old climbing up and down off and on without the worry that it won't fall apart.
