This is a cute little desk, my grandson age sixteen put it together for his little sister age two. It took him a couple hours to build it and it’s something that she enjoys. The seller’s were great and the item arrived as described. The only con for me is it’s size which is really big. I should have taken that seriously because it’s way too big for my small condo and doesn’t fold up to put away. I’ve placed it on my patio for now. I think any preschool would love these little desk chairs because I’m certain it can be used for kids up to kindergarten age, maybe even those kids too. It’s a good place to study or eat a meal or snack. If you have a large enough space for them to stay up, I think they’re a great idea for this propose. I wish my living room was larger than the 12x12 size I have now and my furniture takes up the room and this little chair is used throughout the day by my granddaughter so it’s sad that I had to move it outside. I’m worried about the weather destroying it. I’ll probably find a place inside a closet to move it in and out when my granddaughter is with me everyday. Oh and I do make a request that they’re made with a cut out to put your hands in at the back of the chair to lift it up and not have to drag it by the edge. There’s no place to grab onto it, and I can’t leave it in one place so it makes it really hard to move and it creaks when I do because it’s really heavy once it’s set up. A simple 2x4 routers cut out would allow me to slip my fingers in and lift it with my hand and if it had this I would rate it five stars. I only gave a 3 star because I purchased a similar desk years ago with no issues and it held up for many years. The old desk was easy to assemble and sturdy. However, this time I received a desk that was damaged. I should have listen to the newer reviews. Yet, after my spouse and I opened the box it looked fine on the top. It wasn't until later when we took out Part 'G' to see the corner bent and the inside hole cracked. Although my return has scanned and show to be retuning. The company Delta will not complete the refund until they receive the product. I've attempted to exchange the one part I needed but told through Delta by email to return or exchange. I have pictures, but for some reason I am not given the option on this review to post the pics. After a few days I decided to order another desk because there is no one that sells another desk similar to it. I am hoping that I am not disappointed again and that I do not have to return "again". I plan to update when we receive the next desk. My suggestion is that the product for childrens desk is inspected before sending out due to the number of complaints which show in the reviews. ... show more

If you buy this you will want to faint when you see all the pieces to assemble. However, it really wasn't hard to put together and I am exceptionally pleased with the quality of this child's stool. It took me and my husband about 30 minutes to assemble and we made it date night/drink a glass of wine project. It is fairly heavy so won't get easily tipped over. I bought it to customize for my granddaughter as the photo shows. This product just seems to beg for cute paint. Very happy with purchase. ... show more

I am incredibly disappointed with this product. First of all, the only instructions you get is an 8 step photo assembly instruction. The pieces in the photo didn’t even look like the pieces I received. Nothing was labeled (ie. piece A,B,C, etc). Secondly, the pieces didn’t even properly fit together. There are slots for the corresponding wooden pieces to fit into and they don’t match up properly. I received pieces that were chipped. Some of the screw bits I received were stripped and couldn’t be used. Once assembled, the chair/desk was not sturdy due to the fact that the pieces are unable to line up correctly. I paid full price for a product that seems as if it has been used and returned by a previous customer. I was very excited for this piece of furniture for my son, however, I am very disappointed. Our little man loves it! He is 2 and uses it for eating, coloring, and “gymnastics” (the scary kind that he thinks are hilarious but gives mom grey hairs). He still has plenty of room to use it as he grows which is great for us. It wipes easily and the storage is great. Bought two of these desk one for my 5 year old son and one for my 3 year old daughter. I was on the fence about ordering these desk because I couldn't find a hight or weight limit however that being said my son is almost 4ft tall and 55lb and can fit in the desk with room to grown and has enough space move around in the desk as well!! Didn't have any problems with assembly, the cup holder can hold a sippy cup withoubit getting stuck in the cup, the cup is very easy to clean as well. This is really a cute chair and perfect size for my 2 year old grandson. Added his name for personalization. Pros: good size, should be able to use it til maybe 5? Nice smooth finish, no rough edges. Cons: the hardware, even though an extra one of each piece included, is very cheap. It’s too soft to screw to a tight fit without bending or snapping. I would suggest using wood glue when putting it together. I didn’t but wish i would have. And it would be nice if it included a back piece to keep the little storage basket from going all the way through. ... show more
