I don't normally write reviews but I thought this one needed one. The Christmas house and the building of the accessories was so much fun and I had a great time doing it. HOWEVER...... Who ever was in charge of counting and measuring the items needed for all items is off. I ended up having to buy some things from a craft store because I needed 7 items but they only counted and sent 6. Some ribbons were too short because who ever measured miss measured what was actually needed. The item count that they said you would need was all there. But then you realize as your building it the instructions were not counted properly. It would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for the miss counted/measured items. ... show more

It's a fantastic product but make sure your prepared to spend hours taping, cutting, gluing and sewing. This is not easy at all to build and will most likely require a parent to assist. I recommend using a glue gun instead of the glue (which was missing from my daughter's set) because it is more east to apply. Make sure to check for all pieces before building just in case you have to exchange it for a complete set. ... show more

I had sooo much hope for this tiny house project. All the small pieces had great instructions with appropriate parts. When it came to construction of the main house there were missing directions, parts and lack of structure support. The kit was also missing the dust case plexiglass pieces. However it did come with the music box which is a first for me after making many tiny houses and rooms. So my reviews are mixed! I loved parts of it but despised it. The finished project looks ok. Check your package before you start. This is the second diy I purchased and both were missing parts needed in order to build the house. It is impossible to get any help on the missing parts and the only solution offered is to return the package. This was a gift, now it's a disappointment.

Very fun to do if you like building miniatures from the ground up. This is a lot of work. Not a silly fun project. It will stress you out. But if you enjoy that then go for it.
