Catchability: Attracted lots of little gnats, but not every single one. I was amazed at how many were stuck to the product, but there were still more gnats walking around the rims of the flower pots. Not sure why they land on the item. The yellow color? Some scent? I have no idea. Hopefully, someday there won't be anymore creepy little bugs in my plants, but if they are continuously laying eggs and hatching it might be just a vicious cycle that never resolves, with lots of stuck bugs and some still hanging around. We'll see. Ease of use: Easy to use Size: Not too large Functionality: Lots of gnats were stuck to these in my flower pots. They then look kind of yucky covered with dead bugs. I guess that's why you get so many. I replace them every few days in the hope that the number of bugs will diminish. So far, I still have gnats, but not as many.

What can I say? These are working! We knew we had a few indoor-plant bugs, but we had no idea how infested my plants actually were. These just arrived an hour ago and I have placed them in 15+ plants. Tired of gnats flying in my face while on my computer ( I think they live in my hose plants.) There is a learning curve to place them. 1) Cut the bottom so it is narrower/sharper and not so wide in the dirt. 2) use a dull knife to slice a space in the dirt for the base to go into. 3) Unpeel the sticky part on both sides most of the way, leaving enough paper to hold onto to press into the soil. 4) once in the soil gently remove the paper the rest of the way. I sure hope these work for me. Time will tell.

These little guys are AMAZING! Just peel off the lining and stick 'em in your pots. They catch gnats and ants and even flies! I have them in all the plants in my kitchen bay window and change them out about weekly because we have so may flies (living next to a farm). They're cute and they work! They are the typical size and not smaller as I thought they would be, but that's OK. How fun it is to have little birds catching gnats in a plant. I didn't know was attracting them. I have almost 0 gnats flying around my plants now. But I acted fast as summer was coming and the mulch is breaking down and attracting them. I love they have a hole that I and sent me long ties that I could hang them as well. I love these things.
