not the first one of these i have done. not as detailed and the instructions are lacking detail and explanation, at times just showing a tiny photo with no description or steps. furniture isn't accurate as far as sizing,for instance the dining table is as wide as the chairs for it. I still enjoyed doing it tho and its very cute.

The GuDoQi DIY Miniature Book store Kit It is exactly as advertised (made of wood). It has a great assortment of books, i.e. large, medium and small. It also has a nice assortment of other items, such as beads that function as vessels and other items. The paper quality is excellent. The actual structure is very nice, with beautiful windows and two stories with stairs. There is lots to do, so if you want a quick project, this is not for you. Take your time with the instructions and don't glue the side walls until you place them correctly. They look the same, so if you place them incorrectly, they won't fit with the upper balcony and you may think there is something wrong. All in all I'm really enjoying assembling this kit.

I would not recommend this for anyone who needs instructions, there are no words. You’re kinda figuring it out as you go, if I’m paying this type of money then I expect the basic things provided. Star off for that, the other thing is the measurements? Crafting some stuff, it just seems slightly longer or doesn’t fit as smoothly. This can be overlooked as it doesn’t make it impossible, it’s still a fun puzzle. I had fun, just was more annoyed with this one. I had another one that came neatly packed, had instructions, fit quite well. I think overall, it was tedious but fun, don’t get it if you despise instructions that are pictures and slightly unclear of what it shows. Worth the price? Perhaps a few dollars less then sure. Quality could be better for the price point as well. The items are not very sturdy.

Absolutely stunning and worth every bit of frustration it gave me lol. Some beads took some shaving down here and there to lay flat, but afterwards the reward was great. The instructions are easy to follow, there's nothing really to read, just images and measurements. Everything came together exactly as expected and found some precious hidden gems inside. I would highly recommend this kit for someone that loves this hobby, it's an excellent addition to your collection!

It's not often I am totally disappointed in a purchase on Amazon, I accept that sometimes if I spend less for a product it will reflect in the quality. However this product was just so bad. 1) I was missing an entire bag of materials, just not in the box, this was brand new sealed so it's definitely a manufacturer issue quality control needs to be vastly improved as I've seen multiple reviews talking about this issue. 2) Cheap materials, as I said I'm not expecting super high quality from a product that costs less than 30 dollars but most of the plant pieces were something I could surpass in quality at the dollar store one piece was already partially losing pieces before I even began to construct anything with it, so I fully expect if you tried it would continue to shed and break off. The scissors were the cheapest pair I have ever seen, they looked like they'd never cut through paper and would break in any attempt to. The templetes were just pieces of paper like a flyer you'd get in the mail. They also are not preforated so you'd have to cut all pieces by hand, with the afore mentioned scissors. In fact the floral paper requires you to create your own pieces something I was not expecting from a kit. 3) it does not come with glue, or batteries for the light. For 30 dollars they could put some glue in it. I have built other kits that are illuminated it's rare that they don't provide the battery. Especially when it's a coin style battery and not something more typical like a AA or AAA. I order from Amazon to avoid making another trip to the store to buy supplies that should be included! Save yourself the hassle of return and disappointment and skip this product.

So far I am loving this kit! The one thing ai love most is the reference sheet for the wood pieces. I wish all kits had this!!! I’ve had to measure all the pieces at the start in other kits and label them post its to make my life easier as I went along. This is genius!
