I like the handsome, classy retro look of this watch. I also love the brown leather band, which adds some sophistication. The watch does have some features, such as displaying the day and a stopwatch feature, among others. However, although the stopwatch feature works the displays are very difficult to see. (I would rather use the stopwatch app on my phone instead.) Sadly, I consider these features to be more as decorations that provide visual interest. The band might be a bit short for some, but it fits me just fine. (I have a moderately thick wrist.) IMO, this is a very nice-looking budget watch that could help to make a great coordinated look. (About 30 bucks at the time of this review.)

So, full disclosure, I'm a bit of a watch nerd, and ordered this to see how I'd like wearing a chronograph, before possibly making the investment in an automatic. I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't this! I'm more than a bit shocked at how much is packed into this watch, given its place in the watch spectrum. Still, it's not perfect, but again, one must consider the watches it competes against. My first pleasant surprise was to find a basic tool included for removing links in the bracelet. I have a good tool for this purpose, but to give this watch a fair and complete review, I opted to use the supplied tool. It worked just fine. Note: the supplied instructions are decent, but when working with the pins, push them out by using the tool on the side where the pins are slightly recessed. Then use the tool to push them back in from the other side, once you have it sized to your liking. The bracelet is a bit lighter than higher end watches, but does appear to be stainless steel, and also appears to be quite well made. I set the time a day ago, and it appears to have been completely accurate overnight. The date function also works as expected. I also tested the stopwatch function, and all dials work as advertised. I tested the lume, which seems fairly strong, and lasts a good while. I took a picture of this, but I have a very minor tremor, so the long exposure blurred just a bit. Still, as you can see, the lume works, and works well. The watch in a black box, with a white slide off cover, with the manufacturer name embossed on both in gold foil (see pics). Inside, the watch was covered with clear plastic to protect the bracelet and watch body. There was a foam insert inside the watch bracelet, to keep it secure in shipping, and more foam around the outside of the watch. It all presents very well, and would make a great gift. When looked around for nitpicks, the only thing I can really point to is the indexing of the second and, AKA how it aligns with the markers on the face as it moves. It does not match up perfectly, but I must note again, one has to consider the watches this competes against, which nearly always look and feel cheap. This watch presents as a much nicer piece than it has any right to. As noted, this watch is not waterproof, it is water resistant. Do not submerge this watch in water. Also, one of the pictures in the posting shows two different colors of lume. This model has only one color, as noted in the picture. I'm impressed. I never really intended for this watch to be a "daily driver", but it seems highly likely it has earned a spot in the rotation. The bracelet is comfortable, the design would be at home with anything from a t-shirt to a button down dress shirt, and the value proposition seems off the charts.
