similar to other reviews, this was not an easy water heater to install. It takes time and knowledge of electrical components to get hooked up properly. But once installed, it works well and is quiet and provides hot water. For the one time hassle of the hook up/install, you get a small sleek water heater that takes up hardly any space and provides hot water for a very long time.

I spent several hours getting this heater installed ( mainly because of the wire gauge ). I installed the 13kw heater for a sink in my workshop. The instructions for installation are unclear and not accurate. First, the instructions in the manual say that it uses a 3/4" NPT. That is not correct, it is 1/2". Second, it states that you need to use two breakers. It only has connections for a single breaker. That's fine. I installed a 70 amp breaker ( listed in the specifications, not installation instructions) with the suggested 6awg wire (also not to code). I tried to install 4awg wire, but it will not fit. After install to a single sink I can only get around 90F when the faucet is on full. I have to reduce the flow by 75% to get it to temperature. I wish I could chalk it up to user error, but I have installed this correctly. I verified that the heating element is drawing the correct amperage. I measured about 54amps when the water is on full. It seems that the max flow for this heater is < 1.5gpm (I hooked up a flow meter). I put a restrictor on the faucet and that has reduced the flow enough to allow it to heat up. The mounting is also terrible. After getting the electric connected there is no way to screw in the faceplate. The screw holes are on the back and you need to remove the heater from the wall. You cannot access them if the wiring is tight. I could not be more disappointed. Furthermore, you can get the identical model for much cheaper on Amazon from other companies. Do NOT buy this.
