This fan is great for the price. I've ran one for one cycle(about 4-5 months) for 24/7..No problems as I start this cycle. Only complaints are it is very strong on the lowest setting, to strong for seedlings, IMHO but great for them later. And it's kinda loud, not loud enough to disturb you but, you can hear it.. So far (couple weeks), like the solid feel. The clip spring seems to hold firmly enough to the pole without slipping which gives it an edge over others. Also, the clip is long enough to keep the fan movement away from the sides of the tent, to allow for free oscillation even when exhausting air out of tent, and sides bow in. I am hoping this feature alone makes it last longer than other brands. Didn't give it a 5 yet because it's too soon and wish the cord was 1 foot longer. ... show more

First, I forgot to mark "gift" so it came in another box, as one reviewer suggested. It comes just exactly it would come off the shelf in a store, with a very inadequate layer of bubble wrap for this heavier item. Then, the attachment piece for the clip part does NOT seat securely with t-bold and the fan falls forward. I'll have to find a rubber washer for fix this if I can. It's plastic, so who knows. On the low speed, it is quiet, but on the high speed it is not. In a large space, this would likely not be noticeable, but it's in my sunroom for my small citrus trees. I went with this fan because I WANTED quiet. I could have got a box fan for a fraction of the cost (but larger and uglier). For this price I expected more. I bought the extended warranty, something I almost never do, so we shall see how this holds up over time. ... show more

It's a bit too big for the small 5 shelf green house I have . Normally I get 2 1020 trays per shelf but with this fan it I lose 1 trays worth of space. Also the low setting is enough to messup your microgreens if they are less than 6 inches away. The upside I only need 1 of these an it circulates the air for all 5 shelves when the door is zippered. It is fairly flexible when trying to mount and point in the right direction but it is little limited in it's range of motion ... show more

This has a low and high speed setting which is really high and very high. I've recently purchased a separate fan controller to slow it down more. been using it for about 2 months now 24/7 and am very pleased with it so far.

Using 2 in a 5x5 tent. Works great. Very strong clip . My only complaint is I would like a longer power cord. Existing one is about 4 to 5 ft long but when you're using it in a tent it's nice to have longer. Other than that five stars.

I don't mind spending a premium for a quality product, but this is not it. $40 is quite expensive for a fan, but this one claimed to have all the features I was looking for so I coughed up. My first issue is that, despite advertising that the clip is compatible with ANY grow tent, it doesn't grip strong enough on my tent and instead slowly slides down the framework pole. The fan is also very heavy for its size, which is contributing to the issue. I have a VERY common tent, one of the most prominent brands, so I found it very strange that the clip doesn't even work with such a well-known company. My second issue is the noise. The first two days were fine, it was smooth. Now there's an incessant rattling sound that I can not get to the bottom of. It seems to be coming from the internal components of the fan. My grow tent is in a spare bedroom so it's not that big of a deal, but still disappointing. Outside of these two issues, the fan works well and does what you would expect. ... show more
