Top Amazon Reviews

  • Greatly Surpassed Expectations
Color: INFINITY 2000 PRO
I want to start by saying I am NOT an "Amazon Vine" customer. I paid for the Growatt with my own money, and this review is an honest reflection of my experiences with it. This small portable power station is pretty incredible. I have been using it daily for over 2 months and it is holding up well. Originally, I bought it as something I can use while camping. It fits nicely in the sub-trunk of my 2021 Tesla Model Y. I've had so much fun testing it around the house, I started using it for tasks daily. I paired it with a 450w portable solar panel by ZoupW and they work great together. I charge it from solar during the day and use it for applications around the house that are easily accessible, dumping whatever is left over into my Tesla in the morning before charging it back up again. It will work with the Tesla Mobile Connector as long as you have a neutral ground bonding plug connected as well. With it, I have run: -washer and dryer -coffee maker, air fryer, and toaster (I can run 2 simultaneously) -kids bounce house -charged various portable electronics (phone, iPad, electric scooter, power tool batteries, etc.) There are so many great uses for it. Another reviewer mentioned using at at trade shows, which I think is a great use as well, although I have not had the opportunity to try it yet. There are barely any reviews available to see or read, even on YouTube. I could only find 2 on YouTube; Professor Hobo and Will Prowse, although both were reviews of the previous version, not the Pro. I hope someone makes an updated video review on the Pro, because it's such a great unit. I ended up reaching out to the manufacturer to ask a few questions, and they actually got back to me in a timely manner. I've been very happy with their customer service and response time. Mainly, I wanted to run more solar, and asked some specifics about what the inverter can handle. According to the manual, the inverter can handle a max of 20a, 1200w, 12-60v. The solar panel I have is just over 10a, 38v, so there was no way to add an extra set in parallel or series without surpassing what the inverter could handle. I asked for confirmation on the specs, and this is what I was told: "INFINITY 2000 PRO: ●Max PV Input Voltage: 12-60V DC (Note: 60V is the regulatory limit, but in practical use, voltages up to 150V are generally safe) ●Max PV Input Wattage: 1200W ●Max PV Input Current: 20A This will limit the PV input power to 1200W. There is over-power protection, so it is okay if it exceeds the limit." This was great because I wanted to increase my solar input but did not want to risk damaging the Growatt unit. I am happy to report that I tested this and was happy with the findings. I ran 2 sets of ZoupW panels to the Growatt Portable Power Station in series with zero issues. According to the solar panel specs, voltage should have been somewhere between 75v 92v. The max solar I was able to achieve was 1044w. The inverter did not have any issues with the voltage or throw any errors. I have been so happy with it that I decided to maximize its potential and purchased 2 Growatt Infinity 2000 Pro expansion units. The Growatt website shows a hand truck/dolly you can use to carry them around. Unfortunately this is not available for purchase. I ended up making my own version with a cheap Harbor Freight hand truck I already had. This allows me to easily move them around. With just the main unit, you can lift it and move it as needed, but I did not want to do that with 3 units, and have to disconnect them and re-connect them daily. I also like using the app that is available for the Growatt Infinity 2000 Pro. It shows all the info you need, like input and output. I really like how it shows each USB port individually in the app, so if you have 3 separate devices plugged in, you can see the power draw of each unit individually. This is not the case for the AC outlets; the app just shows the cumulative power draw of everything plugged into the 120v AC outlets. When there is more than 1 battery connected (in my case, one main unit and 2 expansion units), the app shows each battery capacity individually when you click on "Expansion Battery". I like the breakdown and how I can see each battery capacity individually, but I wish the app would show the capacity of the whole system prior to clicking on "Expansion Battery". For example, if one battery was at 40%, one was at 50%, and one was at 60%, I wish the system would show a capacity of 50% for all batteries, then show the individual breakdown of each battery when I click on Expansion Battery, like it currently does. All-in-all, I am very happy with the Growatt Infinity 2000 Pro and expansions. The units look nice (I prefer the color choices for the Pro vs the previous Infinity 2000 version). I have not used the TT-30 plug yet, but you will not get a full 24a from it. The 2400w output of the inverter will limit that port to 20a (I think). I am definitely not an electrician, but an electrical novice who has had fun learning about how all this stuff works as I knew almost nothing before looking into a portable power station and portable panels a few months ago. It's been a fun learning experience. One thing to note, the Amazon listing states the inverter output is 2200w for the Pro, but it is actually 2400w. If you are in the market for a portable power station, I suggest giving this one a try. It is compact yet capable, aesthetically pleasing, and has great customer support. Zero complaints so far, and like I mentioned earlier, I have been using it daily for over 2 months. ... show more

  • One of the best portable storage you can buy
Color: INFINITY 2000 PRO
I read a lot of reviews and watched many videos before buying the Growatt Infinity 2000 Pro. My main use for this Growatt is for overnight camping trips and use as a back-up power in case of black-out conditions to run some equipment like Refrigerator and be able to heat food using the microwave. The Growatt battery capacity is great like but with a good solar panel it can definitely come handy when required. One can always add an additional battery, up to 2 add-on batteries for total of 6100WH. That works seamlessly to extend the battery capacity or go and buy the various available Alternator charges for your vehicle. The Growatt Infinity 2000 Pro provides 2048WH 2400W output. Growatt Infinity 2000 met the power requirements that I was looking for. And the surge power 4000w is really high. So running a microwave for a short time or a coffee machine at a campsite or picnic is not an issue at all. The other reason was the 5 year warranty that comes with Growatt Infinity 2000 Pro. Below are a few things I like about the Growatt Infinity 2000 Pro. 1) Construction - This is a solid built product. The bottom edges have these rubber bumpers for extra protection. The form factor is designed well to fit in the car. The handles are positioned for comfortable carry of the 51lb weight. The box is strong and one can easily put heavy items on the top without any issues. With the LFP battery and 4000 battery cycles, it will last me forever. 2) Display - It's big and clear. Very easy to read even on a bright day on the auto adjust display. All the connections that are turned on are shown on the display. 3) App and Connectivity - The MyGro App is impressive, works great and it's very easy to use. There are so many options that you can set via the app. Connecting the Growatt to the app was a breeze. It connects to WiFi without any issue and also to bluetooth. It is full featured and adaptable with controls to modify just about everything this generator has to offer and to help prolong battery life. 4) When the WiFi is available, the it connects via WiFi. If there is no WiFi connection, it automatically switches to Bluetooth connection. The connection is seamless and you are always connected to the Growatt Infinity 2000 Pro. 5) Charging - Growatt Infinity 2000 Pro charges at 1800W and along with solar up to 2300W to be fully charged from 0% to 100% in about 90 minutes. The fans do kick-in to dissipate all the heat generated during this fast charging. I personally charge the unit at 500 W with fan running but much less noisier and may be better for the battery life. It does have an option on the controls in app to select Quite Mode from 400W to 1800W which greatly reduces fan noise during charging. The solar charging can go up to 1200W. I don't have enough solar panels to check that max limit but this can be a really handy feature during a blackout conditions or with limited hours of sun during camping. One can charge the battery before leaving camping or any other work. Charge while driving from the 12V DC outlet in the car (Also known as the Cigarette lighter port) and the battery will be 100% when you reach your camp/work site. 5) Output Connections - There are more than enough connections that one can use, in my view. With a massive 2400 W capacity and 4800 W of peak capacity, I think you can run almost any home appliance with this. The provided ports like USB A (Fast Charging) x4, USB C x2, AC Power Outlets x4 and 12 V (Car type), DC 5521 5A x2 laptop computer type power input, are good to power any device you may have. Also unique to the Growatt Infinity 2000 Pro has 30A TT30 RV output and an 30A Anderson Port 13.2v output. This makes it friendly to use and customize to power a RV/Camper or van. ... show more

  • Growatt power station Infinity 2000
Color: INFINITY 2000 PRO
There’s a couple brand choices available in this size power stations. Some have different features, offer different outlets and are tailored to specific uses. This was a perfect choice for a vintage trailer to bring it into the 21st century. Fits the old compartment perfectly, offers all the outlets necessary for 30 amp needs, appears very well made and solid. Especially like the 30 amp rv plug-in to make power whenever needed. Plan is to install 3 solar panels, this will handle those too. Great purchase and was a price cut too. ... show more

  • Customer service gets a high five!
Color: INFINITY 2000
Customer service deserves a five star. The Infinity 2000 arrive damaged, though by the time I opened the box, the Amazon exchange window had closed. I called CS and emailed; they responded promptly and agreed to replace the product. It took about 9 days to run the process and get the replacement delivered to my door. I was worried initially but very impressed in the end. The Growatt is an excellent value and weighs less than other 2000 watt products. It recharges in a little more than an hour using a 1,500 watts draw. I bought two 200 watt Renology solar panels and they work fine, though the unit can power with solar up to 1000 watts. I recommend this product. ... show more
