I have many plants who live on the front porch 9 months per year. We don't have great window light in our older home. This light is so versatile you can place anywhere, point in ANY direction, and light weight enough I can move it at any time. Love it, I'll get a couple more.

I’ve been using this for about 6 weeks now on a plant that had just stagnated. It didn’t get as much light as I wanted where it was, but I didn’t have a lot of options. I also wanted to start an indoor herb garden, and thought this would help also. My stagnant plant has gotten 2 new leaves in the last 6 weeks, which is honestly more than in the last year. In fact, it had been losing leaves. So, I think it’s working. The issue is that it wasn’t easy to figure out how the buttons worked initially. There’s a single button to choose the duration of the light being on, and it changes colors as you select it, but nothing tells you which color corresponds to what duration, so you have to wait and see when it shuts off based on what time you turned it on. The light can be adjusted as well, and that’s visibly easier. I’ve kept it at its brightest, but that’s quite bright. I had to position it in a way to keep the light from glaring into the bedroom during the night. It was a $40 price when I got it, and not sure it’s worth that, but it’s much better priced now. It’s easy to put together, and I love the flexible top to angle the light. At this point, I’d recommend, unless things change. Just know that the usage instructions don’t exist, but after a few days you figure out what you want and how to get it there.

This has a nice base, the telescope feature works. The white piece, at the top, that connects the telescope and light - is adjustable, the part connecting the light rotates a little, but I’d suggest against that - the cord comes out of there and seems like it could damage it. The light panel lit up fully, is very thin and lightweight. There is no covering over the lights. I checked after 15 min and it wasn’t warm - I checked again after 45min and the light panel was slightly warm, the plug was barely noticeable - but, had some warmth. The light shows up in the pic as bluish, but to the eye it shows up as a nice white light. It is bright, and gives off a nice amount of light, but isn’t so bright it’s blinding. I have no way to check what kind of light spectrum it’s emitting, but it is easy to assemble, sturdy and lights up well. I also didn’t test the timer, as I won’t be using that option.

The media could not be loaded. This light is inexpensive, easy to assemble and works in almost any circumstance to get you plants the light they need. Everything arrived perfectly. The light was made to high quality standards.no drills or screwdrivers. Just put everything together and get started. Perfect for solo plants or a group of them and the adjustable height makes it work for any plant anywhere in the house.
