Saved my orange tree as I overwintered this year inside instead of the greenhouse. Tree bloomed and survived without having to pay for heating, humidity and fan in greenhouse this past winter. Wish the stand was adjustable though. I purchased another light from another brand that does adjust for my lemon and lime trees. Time function works as intended. You just need to wake up early to turn the function on as I noticed that it starts once you initiate it manually. I had to wake up at 6 am once just to start the process. To be quite honest I was not sure what to expect with this grow light. It was definitely much better than I anticipated. Even though I have a pretty good amount of daytime light the time of light was not enough for some of my plants. After purchasing this light I have noticed lots of new healthy growth. I thought this would detract from the room but it is pleasantly decorative. The goose neck adjustments are perfect to adjust the location and direction of the light. It's very light weight and easy to move, but also easy to knock over - making it an excellent excuse to purchase another plant to place on the base. Timer is close enough and assembly was a breeze.
