These efficient planers offer between 15” and 20” planing capacity. The 4-row helical cutterhead contains up to 92 indexable inserts; these inserts can each be rotated three times to expose new, sharp cutting edges. The inserts sit at a slight angle to the workpiece for even shearing cuts, minimized tearout, and a smooth finish. These models offer a maximum stock thickness of either 6-1/8” or 8”, and a 2-speed gearbox drives the adjustable bed rollers at either 16 or 28 feet-per-minute.
