I use it to heat shower water at an off-grid location. It heated a 5gal bucket of water from 55 degrees to 110 degrees in about 25 minutes. Unsure about longevity since we've only had it one weekend. I'll update if we experience any issues.

Burned up in just minutes and caught on fire. I read another review about this problem and I can confirm, if you don't have it in water it will catch fire. So think hard before buying this because if you have a home or farm, rest assured if it is plugged in without water, it WILL catch on fire and burn everything down. ... show more

Got this to heat up our pool in the backyard this past summer. It takes about 3 hours to get it to comfortable temperatures. If youre just heating up a bucket Im sure this would do the trick in 5minutes

    • Get Titanium For Inflatable Hot Tub Heater
I own an inflatable hot tub and at first went with a cheap stick heater to supplement heating after refills and getting 104 degree plus temps. The first 20 dollar unit shorted and died in 3 weeks. I am 9 months in with this titanium heater and it’s still going strong. I turn it off before getting in (just unplugged) but it’s been submerged for pretty much its entire life and still working. Make sure you have a gfci if using this in a hot tub for safety but titanium is tough against all oxidizing. ... show more
