    • Beware of this grill...
Grill arrived within several days of ordering it, the box looked ok considering it came from the east coast all the way to California via several carriers, so I didn't see anything that concerned me. I unpacked the grill and noticed one or two tabs where the chrome piece and the black grill are snapped together were not aligned or in their slots, hmmm, not the end of the world.....yet. The install was very easy after watching a YouTube video once and all seemed well at the time, and it looked great on the truck too. A week later, I'm washing the truck and noticed one side of the plastic chrome trim was separated from the grill portion by over 1/2", leaving a very noticeable gap where the hood meets the grill. It looks like besides the 2 tabs on the bottom of the trim popping loose, there are now 3 or 4 more tabs that are popped out along the top and side, leaving a very obvious gap . I've tried to realign and snap everything back together again but that was a waste of time. Next step is to take the grill off, get some 2 stage epoxy and some clamps and epoxy the 2 halves together since the tabs are a waste of time now. Very disappointing product because the ratings indicated it was a good replacement for the OEM grill.......not so from my experience. If the epoxy trick won't fix it, it's off to the dealer to get an OEM at a hefty price..... ... show more
