beautiful watch, but after setting the time it did not work, i and others tried pushing the dial back in and it stayed loose as if i were trying to set the time. another friend was able to dislodge a very tiny bit of plastic and the dial was pushed in for the watch to work. there should be a set of directions with the watch. ... show more

I'm someone who is ridiculously hard on watches. I've stopped buying expensive watches since I seem to burn through those just as fas as less expensive watches. That said, this watch has held up well. I wear it every day all day, really only taking it off to shower. It's easy to read and has a second hand so I can take vitals at work (I'm a nurse). I only have 2 complaints about it, both pertaining to the band. First, I wish it had come with a couple of extra links for the band. The watch fits snuggly, and I generally prefer a looser fit. Not really a deal-breaker, but still it'll make me less sad to replace this watch when that time inevitably comes. Also, there seems to be a link on the watch that has a slightly sharper edge than the rest. This actually never bothers me, but my kids notice it when they feel it and I've accidentally scratched them with the band a couple of times. ... show more

I was initially pleased with this purchase. The watch looks like the picture, and the face has the beautiful marbled appearance. I have a relatively large wrist that it is sometimes difficult to buy bracelets, so I was a bit nervous about the watch fitting. In fact, I had to remove a link in order for it to fit properly! Now that I have been wearing the watch for about a month, I have noticed a few issues. As some other reviews mention, the purple finish on the watch can chip off. I have had minor problems with this, as I have been careful with the watch. Still, there are very small chips of silver showing through the purple. The greatest disappointment of the watch has been the band. Though it was initially fine, about a month after wearing it the finish began to come off the inside of the watch clasp. It was initially a rose gold color coating over the metal that was imprinted ‘stainless steel’. Since the coating has begun wearing off, my skin has begun to develop a rash to the metal underneath (little bumps, itchy). I have never in my life had this type of reaction to any metal, let alone stainless steel. This was extremely disappointing because this watch is from a good brand and was not cheap. I really expected it to last longer. The watch should not start breaking down and be uncomfortable to wear within a few weeks of having it! I was initially planning on buying more watches from Nine West because a lot of them are cute, but if this represents their brand I will not be purchasing again in the future. ... show more
