I have a Nexgrill evolution bought from Sams a couple years ago.. and it went to kahkah within a year sitting under cover.. limping along, the grates were separated, not just like broke.. but the metal flared.. the burners were barely operational and the igniters.. well.. my lighter was the primary way to light the grill.. I stopped by the big box stores and they wanted astronomical prices for replacement parts that were at best, something you'd maybe consider for a campfire type cookout.. Found these burners and they are nice, seem like decent quality, and are a perfect fit... however, the brackets that hold the igniters dont align with what I have.. (maybe i bought the wrong ones, but fairly sure it said my model).. So, foremost, the workaround is 15 minutes of extra ingenuity ... 1. Simply attach the igniters to the burner as designed, dry fit and align where it appears it would poke through, then grab your drill and a 3/8th drill bit.. and make a new hole.. (try to make the hole level to the burner as you dont want your burner cockeyed. The burner needs to be level, so it heats evenly.. 2: Insert the burner and the igniters into the new hole you made, and run the cable. If you made the hole not even.. this is where you simply bend the bracket ever so slightly to ensure the burner is level.. easy peezie.. 3. Install complete .. This was the best 30 bucks I spent in a while.. and if they last a year or two.. thats better lifespan than the OEM did.. Frankly, these big box store grills are intended to be thrown out yearly.. they are junk.. If you want a real grill, go viking or something of significant quality.. but if you're like me, (as much as I'd love to own a viking grill), you can make your money stretch and buy these burners.. Oh yea, the covers.. so they are nice, but you may have to bend the tabs on one side, which will crack the coating, whats happens is, the cover is not level, therefore everything in the back would cook faster, verses the front.. So simply grab some plyers, and bend them flush, lay the cover back on and "Voila".. Be sure to fire the grill up and run for 15-20 min a few times before you cook. This helps seasons them and ensure the coating is baked in.. nothing worse than that nasty chemical coating after-taste in your fine grilling efforts.. Also, if you buy new grates, be sure to put some veg oil on them before grilling, this helps season them up..

Price was nice, yet on of the burner covers gloss burned off with my first use, not sure why, because the other 4 are fine, has anyone else had this issue? Oh and the ignition cords are a little long, yet they fit perfectly on my Nexgrill 5 burner.

The holes in the gas tubes are much larger than the holes in the original tubes from our grill. It may not seem like a big deal, but it creates hot and cold symptoms with normal propane tank pressure. The flavorizer bars fit perfectly. But there's not really a lot you could mess up with those.
