I'm using them for grooming long-furred cats and although the comb doesn't work particularly well for this purpose, the variety of scissors do. I bought this set to groom a lion head rabbit my boyfriend rescued. She was matted and needed a little help. This kit had everything I needed to get the mats out and trim a little hair off to prevent more mats from forming. It was also great that all the shears had dull ends to make it easier to cut the hair around the eyes (helped a lot with the mat on her cheek). Not nearly as sharp as the same brand I bought before many years ago. The first set I bought was so good but these are probably just worth the price you pay for them…. So decent enough but you’re not getting any great deal or anything. The finger inserts fall out immediately and the blade sharpness gets the job done but I first noticed that the blending shears took a lot more effort to do the same job.
