I'm impressed by this well-made little device. I've used it for a month, it works great in our 16' round above ground pool that is under trees. I don't have to spend any time cleaning the bottom anymore - this has enough suction to clean some small leaves too. It's easy to clean. Battery lasts long enough. The plastic body and filter are well made. Since its super inexpensive, I just had to take it apart to see how it worked - I'm that guy, I void warranties - and I see an engineer spent some quality time thinking this through. This little guy does a great job and never gets stuck like my Kreepy did. It is well worth the money. I will still throw my Kreepy in occasionally but I like that this does a really good job and swimming in my pool is so much more enjoyable not having to swim around an automatic cleaner hose. I named it R2D2. I really love it and I am going to order a second one to throw in after the first to get the pool extra clean. My only recommendation to improving it is to make the clamps that hold the top and bottom together a bit tighter. For the money, it can't be beat! ... show more

The charge does not last more than 45 minutes which I expected from previous reviews, but it does work better than expected. Suction is good, not great, but it does remove scum and dirt well. Leaves are a different story. It does pick up leaves, but leaves clog it often. I run it for a full run, take it out, clean and charge it for the next day. It is very easy to clean, assemble, and operate. It's a one button function that makes it very easy to use. The only problem I had and didn't expect, was when I pull it out, if you wait too long pulling it out, or dangle it to let the water run out over the pool, you will lose debris back into the pool. We bought this for our above ground 15' round pool. It does a decent job. We tied a fishing bob & finishing line to it so we could fish it out without a hook (our dog chewed the hook up lol) this has been surprisingly durable.

This little robot pool vacuum is a beast! Placed it in our 10x16 above ground pool and it went to work. We just opened our pool after this past winter and it had more than usual debris in it. We have a few creases in the bottom liner and this little gem just rolled right over them and sucked up everything, even the fine particles of dirt. Easy to use, easy to clean. It works ok-ish. Picks up some dirt. The operating time is less than 10 minutes (on a good day) then it requires to be plugged in again for 2 hours.

This pool vacuum is a nice product. Although it does seem to not have as much suction as I would like for it to pick up it does a very good job overall. I've never had an expensive one to compare it to, but overall, I am pleased with the purchase. It's much better than the hoses hooked up to the pump. I love that it recharges. It took about 3 hours to re-charge and I find that my above ground pool needs 2 uses to do a clean I am satisfied with. It lasts for about 40 minutes. As long as you have a very flat liner she works pretty well. I do like the hook that is provided for getting it out of the pool. I will say though once you get it to the top it's still a bit heavy with the water in it, but heck I'm 65 and don't have the arms I once did. Well worth the price.
