I bought this product and it worked for 5 minutes and the weld cracked. I used it once but after the 30 day returned had passed. Don't buy this product. You will waste your money and get nothing in return. Make sure you check the return policy.

This is sturdy and works well on a small lawn. Would not recommend if you lawn is very large. It is easy to use , light weight and works well and has held up with out inccedent. It does take a lot of time to do even a small area. For the price it is a good value as it is durable. Just keep in mind this is really only practical for a small lawn.

Broke the first day I used it. Hardly put any force on it and it cracked at the weld point. It doesn't penetrate soil effectively at all. Unless your soil is as soft as fertilizer. 3 out of 10 for penetration effectiveness.

The one I received appears to have been a return. Everything was loose in the box; the bags were torn open, the handle was damaged, and the previous buyer had left their own wrench inside. The spikes are very small. More like nails. The actual coverage per stomp is 6 inches x 4 inches. I did a patch and could not see the holes it made, due to the small size of the spikes. The just fill back in. I generally use a pitchfork. In comparison, this devise is very dificult to get into the soil. I weigh 170 and with my body weight, it goes in 1 to 2 inches with very small holes. The pitch fork on the other hand goes far deeper into the soil, is easier to do so and makes better size holes. I feel like if I was heavier, the devise would not last long. The spikes would go in further, but they would easily bend. At 170 I feel like I could easily break it. So for me, it's more of a gadget. I'll stick with the pitchfork.
