  • Great Value -impressive Cooling power
I recently purchased this Grelife air cooler, and it’s been absolutely fantastic—especially for keeping my gaming PC cool! As shown in the pictures, I placed it next to my desktop setup, and it works like a charm. The functions are super straightforward and easy to use. You just need to add water—though I personally use purified water for better performance and care. It also came with four reusable ice packs, which are very effective in boosting the cooling effect. Once filled, the water lasts for 6 to 8 hours or even more, which is super convenient for long work or gaming sessions. There are two ways to fill the water, and both are user-friendly. It's energy-efficient, space-saving, and provides excellent value for money. Highly recommended for anyone looking to cool down their room or keep their PC setup from overheating! ... show more

  • Dissapointed
The fan seems like it kicks out some wind which is great, but if you are using the air con setting, even with all 4 icepacks it doesn’t last more than an hour or so of blowing cold air…my room I have it in isn’t small or huge, so it should cool it down..but it almost kicks as much hot air as it does cold air out…watching my thermometer, it actually raised the air temp in my house within two hours…bought this two months ago and just finally got hot enough to use it…but I would definitely spend more to get something that actually cools the small space ... show more

  • Good for keeping a bedroom cool.
Great for a small space. With ceiling fan it does a good job of keeping about 500 sq foot cool and comfortable. Great for bedroom or RV. Only have to fill it twice in 24 hours.

  • Good for kids room
I got this portable air cooler for my kid’s room, and it’s been a great buy. It cools the space quickly and runs super quietly, so it doesn’t disturb sleep at all. The 8-hour timer is perfect for bedtime, and the ice packs make a noticeable difference on hotter nights. I also like that it works as a fan and humidifier, so the air doesn’t feel dry. The tank lasts all night, and the 360° oscillation helps keep the whole room comfortable. It’s lightweight, easy to move, and ideal for keeping kids cool and comfy without installing a bulky AC. ... show more

  • Minimal performance, nowhere near the advertised 400 sq. feet of coverage.
As we're expecting a hot summer, I wanted a machine which provides more coverage than my quality tower model evaporative cooler does, without using a lot more electricity. This product advertises a 400 sq. foot coverage area, it doesn’t use much more power than my current unit does, and it was on sale at a good price. So, after quickly glancing through the reviews I clicked buy. However, after receiving it and putting it through its paces, I’m unfortunately very disappointed and it is being returned. Being most effective in an arid, dry climate and perhaps largely due to a misunderstanding of what to expect from an evaporative cooler, some will be disappointed with the technology itself. These machines combine a fan with a humidifier and the air is cooled by adding chilled water to the tank, but the machine itself cannot actually ‘produce’ cold air. So, if used in an already humid environment, it further increases the ambient humidity by adding cool humid air to hot humid air, resulting in even muggier air, rather than producing the desired cooling effect. Living in a high mountain desert area of the country, I’m very familiar with evaporative air coolers and have been using them in various sizes and configurations for decades. They are much easier on the electric bill than air conditioners and can provide cooling within reason, but they *should not be* expected to produce anything close to what an air conditioner will. While quiet on low speed the air output it produces a disappointingly negligible, but it *may* be sufficient if operated within two to three feet of your chair or bed. Medium speed is quite a bit better, and the noise level is acceptable but to get what I consider to be an effective airflow over a distance greater than about 10 feet, I need to put it on high (and we've not even had temps higher than the mid 80's yet). It is loud at that speed, to the point that it would be disruptive if you’re on phone or video calls, etc. At that level I can feel good airflow for a distance of approximately 15 feet, but as distance is increased its effectiveness drops pretty noticeably. I tested its performance in my living room which is 12' deep and connects to my dining area, but its primary location was to be in my home office, which measures only 9x12'. This limited performance does not support the *prominently* advertised claim of it being sufficient to cool a 400 sq. foot area. The “mode” idea is an interesting concept, but unfortunately it *does not* smoothly/gently transition between levels when active. Rather it runs for a preprogrammed time at one level, then very abruptly shuts down and goes to the next speed in the sequence. It continues in that manner until you’ve had enough of it and turn the function off. The noise made as it clunks through the transitions is highly annoying and distracting when I’m awake and would be intolerable if I were trying to sleep. Beyond its functionality as a basic fan and while I have no expectation for this technology to produce a level of cooling that is anywhere near that produced by actual “air conditioners,” a well-designed system should produce a reasonably detectable difference in room temperature. But unlike the other swamp coolers that I’ve used, with this product I can actually detect *very little* difference in the air temperature produced when using only the fan mode and when I activate its evaporative cooling function. This may in part be because the moisture wicking mats in the machine are a quasi-honeycomb style but have *much larger air gaps* than I’ve ever seen on an evaporative cooler mat, and there is also about an inch of open space between the edge of the mat and the frame of the machine through which a good amount of air intake will flow. Thus, between these factors, a lot of the air which travels through the machine will have insufficient exposure to the wet mats to be effectively humidified/evaporatively cooled by them (see my photos, one compares the difference between the cooling mat gap size and the normal, dense spacing as found in my tower model from a different company). The casters on the bottom are sturdy but pretty small (none are locking) and due the weight of the unit when the tank is filled, they sink into my carpeting which prevents it from rolling freely when I want to move it. While the listing photos are presented in such a way that they indicate otherwise, as seen in my size comparison photo with my 40" tower and as disclosed in writing in the listing, it is small - *only 22.4” in total height* so the breeze experienced reaches mostly only my legs when I’m seated. Using the swing/oscillation feature helps a bit in that regard but depending on the direction that the front grill is in when being used in a stationary position (with the air flow pointed vertically OR horizontally), I find that the direction and span of coverage is notably limited. Unfortunately, it was after receiving the product and deciding that it does not meet my needs that I took a closer look at the reviews. They combine reviews for this item and a black tower unit and in my opinion, there is reason to question the validity and source of several of the 5-star reviews done for this model. As stated, it is being returned. ... show more

  • Perfect!!! 5 Stars!!
I was skeptical about buying this one after reading the negative reviews. I must admit I love it. Of course I have used a “cooler” before and knew what to expect. If you wanting an Air conditioner then this isn’t for you. If you just want higher efficiency fan then this is perfect! I have a heat pump with air, but I like a cooler bedroom that everyone else, this unit works perfectly for me!! 5 stars all the way!! No more noise than a fan. ... show more

  • It is ok as a fan not for air conditioner
It is good as you can use as a fan. But the way it says 3 in 1 air conditioner. You don’t feel any cool air even you use the ice pack they provided.

  • Not cool..
Did not deliver what it promised. I was disappointed that it did not cool the room as it said it would. The ice did not help at all and the thought of having water underneath is something that we have to constantly watch out that doesn't spill. Not sure how its supposed to cool a room when all it does is flush out air. I bought 2 and had to return it back. ... show more
