I purchased the 8’x6’ shed, and as others have mentioned, the interior dimensions are smaller than the advertised size. One of the most important steps is making sure you have a solid, flat, and level foundation. I built an 8’x8’ wood deck for my shed, taking extra care to square the corners and ensure it was completely level. The directions were decent, but you really need to study them carefully to avoid mistakes. For the most part, the panels lined up with the screw holes, though I did run into a few misaligned spots. During the installation, especially when the wall panels were still vertical, the shed felt flimsy and unstable. However, once everything was in place, including the roof, the structure was surprisingly sturdy. The aluminum panels are thin and dent easily, and the edges are very sharp—I ended up with a few cuts during assembly. My recommendation is to weatherproof the shed once it’s built. I used paintable silicone caulking on all seams (including the roof) and then applied a rubber seal coating to the entire roof. I also painted the shed gray to match my other building, and so far it’s remained leak-free. My only concern is durability if something heavy, like a large branch, were to fall on the roof—it would likely cave in. Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable shed and are willing to invest patience in assembly plus some follow-up weatherproofing, this is a solid option. ... show more

Listen, if you review it based on the instructions thats just silly. It's a cheap shed. Obviously you need to seam seal it with silicone caulk; it's metal it will have slight gaps. It took a few hours to put together and I had to drill one missing whole in the frame. Now that it's up it's great. You can't beat it for the price. ... show more

    • Absolute nightmare to build
I read all the medium-to-bad reviews and still bought this, because it's big and cheap. The instructions say 2 people can build it in 2-3 hours. It took my wife and I more like 10 hours spread over 4 days with multiple bloody fingers, although more than half of that time was peeling the plastic off all the pieces. The instructions aren't great but not impossible to figure out. Lots of pieces don't align perfectly and need some squeezing and bending to screw together - we had to drill 2 holes when the pre-drilled ones weren't even close to matching. The doors didn't align very well but they do close and lock with some slight pressure. All in all, this is a frustrating piece of junk and you'll hate putting it together, but once it's done, it looks decent and feels sturdy enough to last. I wouldn't trust it to be totally waterproof, but I don't think it'll get flooded or anything. If you want a really nice shed, you should probably pay for a really nice shed. If you want something much cheaper and you'll willing to spend the time building it, this should be fine. ... show more

    • Complicated and time consuming assembly

It seemed like a good idea, but the assembly is very difficult and time consuming. I was expecting a fairly quick and easy assembly, but that is impossible. I have a lot of experience assembling things. I used to assembly radar dishes on a rotating base. No problem! To be able to assemble this, it would be helpful to be seven feet tall, with long arms, to attach the piece that lays on the peak of the roof. There are screws that fasten it to the roof at the center of the piece, it's impossible to reach that point. The instructions are good and clear, with almost fifty steps! Be careful! ... show more

I am 74 and put this together by myself. Lots of screws! We are on a lake and get lots of wind, so I reinforced it on the inside with 2 by 4's. Good shed for the price.

It comes in a box and can easily be installed. The base comes in with it. It took me half a day to put it altogether. I like the lockable feature and the tilted roof. It adds 5x3 storage space in my backyard.

This is a sturdy shed. I put it together by myself in about 10 hrs. It would have been much easier with two people. A few things that could be better. The instructions are not very clear, a lot of the screw holes don't line up and the gable ends are very flimsy and bend very easy. I used my own self tapping screws more than the ones that came with it. I had to supply my own concrete anchors. All in all for the price its a decent shed.
