if you want to do spot spraying this may not be the sprayer for you. this sprayer is awesome and really lays it out so be ready to work fast and large areas. not for spot spraying. highly recommended for large areas and perfect for farm applications. great product and a great deal if you're looking for an extra battery for your greenworks collection ...this cost a little more than just a battery and you get a 4 gallon sprayer ... show more

Shoots up to 18 feet which I needed to clean my siding on house. Nozzles for jet stream, as all nozzles, were plastic. Jet nozzle would not close enough to allow a jet stream to hit high corners of house with chemicals. Need to buy an adjustable brass nozzle to try and get enough jet stream to reach peak of house with chemicals ... show more

I purchased this Greenworks 80v backpack sprayer in June 2024, thinking I could avoid another small engine tune up and go with a lithium battery. In retrospect I should have bought the Invatech italia instead. Power on this sprayer is nominal, though it is easy to use. Waist hip support buckle broke after a few months, maybe 6-8 uses. Didn't use the sprayer for two months (winter) and here I am in only the eighth month of ownership and the tank leaks the solution down my leg. Needless to say, I am not happy with the overall quality of materials and short lifespan of this product. Costly lesson learned. ... show more

    • Major Safety Issues

I read and followed the instructions. First, it doesn’t hold 4 gallons. More importantly, it leaks badly from the top. It doesn’t matter how tight you screw on the lid, it still leaks. The handle and other parts come lose easily, even after tightening well. The biggest issue is really the top lid leaking. This has been an issue multiple times to the point where I have almost no use for the product. Both myself and my helper have had toxic chemicals run down the backs of our shirts soaking us in hazardous chemicals. I do NOT recommend EVER purchasing this for weed spray, insecticide, or any other toxic chemicals. Bathing in these chemicals results in cancelling our jobs, and getting to the nearest place to shower and get medical help. The quality is extremely low, it has never properly worked, so don’t expect to save time. The battery life is fine, but pointless when you can’t use the product. It isn’t durable when it doesn’t work out of the box due to bad seals. I own many many Greenworks products, all of them are good EXCEPT this sprayer. I only trust it for non toxic chemicals like fertilizer or watering plants etc. ... show more
