  • Great Value and Performance
Size: 17" (2 x 4.0Ah) USB-C
I bought this mower to replace another cordless electric mower that finally quit. I have only used it a couple of times, but I am very happy with the power and maneuverability of this mower. I’m most impressed with how well it cuts thick Zoysia without repeatedly stopping.

  • Works well for small areas and light to medium grass. Does not fold as advertised. Works well for small areas and light to medium grass. Does not fold as advertised.
Size: 17" (2 x 4.0Ah) USB-C
The first thing I noticed when I took this mower out of the box is that it did not have the cam lock levers where the handle meets the mower and mid way up on the handle. It uses bolts and nut knobs. It does not fold as was advertised an is shown on the box. (See photos) This means it takes up more space in my garage. It appears they have more than one model and some have different handles and features. This is still no excuse for sending out units with inaccurate information. The batteries come with a USB-C charger. The charger is rated at 65 Watts. it is going to take a long time to charge two 4 AH 24 volt batteries with a 65 Watt charger. Fortunately for me I only have a few small areas to mow with this mower and I can easily get it done on on charge. I realistically get 30 to 40 minutes of light to moderate use from the batteries. Form looking at the listings it appears that there is a model that comes with a higher power charger that the batteries slide onto, typical of chargers for batteries such as these. It is not a self propelled mower but it is very light and pushes easily. I had no problems using it on hills. It maneuvers quite well. It cuts to about 1" from the edge of the mower. It will cut heavy/tall grass but it will struggle. It is made for grass that has not gotten out of control. It does cut the grass instead of tearing it. A sharp blade definitely helps here. The controls are a bit odd. There is a power button. You have to press and hold this and then squeeze one of the levers while still holding the button. The in a second or two, or sometimes three, the mower will start. You can then let go of the button. If you let go of the lever the mower will stop. The height adjustment works well and is very easy to adjust. Three stars for performance, not folding, and value. I would probably give it four stars if it folded as advertised. If you only have a small area to mow this will probably work well. if you have a large lawn or let your grass get high before mowing I suspect this will not work well for you. ... show more

  • Quiet Power Meets Modern Convenience
Size: 17" (2 x 4.0Ah) USB-C
This mower really hits that sweet spot between power, convenience, and ease of use. Right out of the box, it feels thoughtfully designed—not just as an electric alternative, but as a genuinely capable upgrade from traditional gas mowers for a lot of everyday yard work. The 48V system (using dual 24V batteries) delivers more power than you might expect. It handles standard lawn conditions with ease and keeps a consistent, smooth cut without bogging down. For typical residential yards, it has more than enough strength to get the job done efficiently without feeling underpowered. What stands out right away is how smooth and quiet the operation is. Compared to gas mowers, the difference is night and day—no loud engine noise, no fumes, no pull starts. You just press a button and go. It makes mowing feel less like a chore and more like a quick, manageable task you can knock out without the usual hassle. The brushless motor plays a big role here. It runs efficiently, adjusts well to different grass conditions, and helps maximize battery life. Speaking of which, the included 4.0Ah batteries provide solid runtime for most small to mid-sized lawns. And if you’re already in the Greenworks ecosystem, having swappable batteries is a huge plus. One feature that really adds modern convenience is the USB-C charging capability. It’s not something you see on every mower, and it gives you more flexibility in how and where you charge. It’s a small detail, but it reflects how this mower is built with current-day usability in mind. The 17" deck size is a good balance—compact enough to maneuver easily around tight areas, but still wide enough to cover ground efficiently. It’s especially useful for yards with obstacles, landscaping, or tighter turns where a larger mower might feel bulky. Build quality feels solid overall. It’s lightweight compared to gas options, but not in a way that feels cheap—it’s easy to push and control while still holding up to regular use. Storage is also simpler thanks to its more compact design. Pros Strong, consistent cutting power for residential use Smooth, quiet operation (no gas, no pull start) Efficient brushless motor Dual battery system with good runtime USB-C charging adds modern convenience Lightweight and easy to maneuver Low maintenance compared to gas mowers Cons 17" deck may feel small for larger properties Battery runtime depends on grass thickness and conditions Not intended for heavy-duty or overgrown areas Overall This mower is a great example of how far electric yard tools have come. It’s powerful, easy to use, and far more convenient than traditional gas models for everyday lawn care. The smooth performance, solid battery life, and thoughtful features make it a reliable choice that simplifies the entire mowing experience. ... show more

  • Disappointed
Size: 17" (2 x 4.0Ah) USB-C
Super cheaply made. But is was a very inexpensive mower. Couldn't use it because it was missing the clamps that hold the handle to the mower. Sent back

  • Good quality, not best battery life
Size: 17" (2 x 4.0Ah) USB-C
This lawn mower works fairly well and is easy to use, especially for small to medium yards. It is lightweight, starts quickly, and the brushless motor provides decent cutting power. Assembly is simple and the overall design feels convenient for regular use. However, the battery life is a bit disappointing. The charge does not last as long as expected, especially if the grass is thicker or the yard is larger, so you may need to recharge before finishing the job. Overall, it is a decent mower with good features, but the battery performance could be better for more efficient mowing. ... show more

  • Great Cut, Smart Battery System, Just Know It Gets Heavy Loaded
Size: 17" (2 x 4.0Ah) USB-C
NOTE: I'm a BIG fan of GREENWORKS due to the system's ease of use and the tool reliability! This Greenworks 48V (2x24V) 17" brushless mower has been a really solid performer for me. It cuts well, starts instantly, and the 17" deck is a nice sweet spot for smaller to medium yards where you want something nimble, not a giant heavy beast. Out of the box, the mower itself actually feels pretty light and easy to maneuver. The brushless motor is smooth and there’s no drama with starting or stopping—just push the button and go. Where you really feel the difference is once you drop in the two 24V batteries. The whole system runs 48V by combining them in series, which is clever because it keeps you in the Greenworks 24V ecosystem, but it does add noticeable weight. With a pair of 4.0Ah batteries installed, this feels heavier than my 40V mower that only uses a single pack. It’s not unmanageable, but you definitely notice it when you’re pushing up a slope or turning frequently. If you’re used to super light single‑battery mowers, that’s something to keep in mind. On the plus side, the dual‑battery setup gives you good power and runtime, and I like that those 24V packs can be used in other Greenworks tools. The included 65W USB‑C charger is also a nice modern touch—being able to charge via Type‑C just feels more up‑to‑date than the usual brick‑and‑dock designs. Overall, this is a great little mower that does its job really well; just understand that “lightweight” kind of ends once you load it up with the appropriately beefy batteries. RECOMMENDED! ... show more
