Perfect for a townhome! Easy to put together and store! I love the height adjustment, it took me a month to find a plug-in mower that had a height adjustment above 2-3 inches. Took me under 5 minutes to put together, used straight out of the box :-)

Like another reviewer mentioned. The mower will not hold height. It will not stay at the 5 setting for 3", it will drop to 3 or 4 setting which is too low, around 2" cut. Besides that, it's a good mower.

After researching for days and hours and hours, I went with this one. I had issues with gas powered lawn mowers for various reasons. It is so nice to know it will start, every time! If you have a small to medium sized yard this will work. And you do not want to cut to long of grass with it, will still work but will be a bit of a struggle. I am female and am 5"7 160 lbs, it is easy to maneuver and not too heavy. It is so much quieter than a gas mower. I ordered a long coord, sucks to have one. But after reading about the lack of actual charge with batteries, I decided to go with a coorded one. ... show more

We rather favor natural landscapes, until they get out of control.. like when a litter of feral kittens 'ruled' out mowing for a few months.. Between our field mower for tall lavishly flowered 'weeds' that reach shoulder height, and this lil electric mower for the knee high grassy stuff, we're managing. This lil Greenworks can handle taller stuff but it's a bear of a job, so we would need to take the loppers and remove the stuff with stems over finger-thick, and then patiently take less in at a time than the full 17inch width. The resulting bagged greens are pretty fine, unlike the straw-like output from the field mower. But it is so, so nice to have no starting problems, and the blades don't get strangled in the long stuff either. For the areas we keep ankle high, it's a breeze. Mind you, it does help to have a partner to manage the cord. But electric is so civilized. it's lightweight and no problem like the battery powered enviro equipment of the 90s of our early days in naturescaping. ... show more

The lawn mower itself is good, but has gotten louder over the year I've had it. It also cuts very short, which I like so I'm not having to cut my lawn every week. Although, sometimes it seems like an uneven cut overall it's good and starts up every time. I guess the one annoying thing about it is that I have to plug it in. I guess I didn't realize what a pain it would be to do that. I've ran over two cords already, but have fixed them because they're expensive, but this last one I just decided to buy another one. If you don't mind the hassle of a cord than I would go ahead and purchase. And after reading the reviews on the horrible charge on the battery, I wouldn't bother with that one. ... show more

I had corded electric mowers years ago, and they were not good. This one out-performs my most recent gas mower (that cost twice as much.) It goes through thick grass. I even mowed over piles of old grass (from the other mower) and it took them on with no problem. The grass catcher is very easy to mount and remove as well. Once you're used to the cord, and how to turn the mower so you don't have problems, this thing is a breeze. I bought the 17" hoping it would go places a larger mower wouldn't, and it does! Because it's light, it's easy to maneuver around trees too. All in all, I'd rate this a winner! Also, I'm well past retirement age, and would suggest this for seniors, juniors, and anyone in-between. ... show more
