Tackled well over 6 inch grass that was still damp from rain from prior night. Very light and easy to maneuver. To prevent bogging down on really tall grass just tilt front wheels off the ground.

I live in the mountains with rocks and big thick weeds. My front yard looked like a jungle when I returned home from a six week vacation. Everyone up here in this neck of the woods usually do their yards with weed wackers. I read about this little lawn mower and decided to try it out. I am not exaggerating when I say it is fantastic. I got my large wooded front yard done. It did not kick up rocks at all. I also got a weed wacker to get corners but I was so happy with this lawn mower I would give it six stars if available. I am 76 and not too great at putting things together but this was fairly simple and to just charge a battery and assemble the handle I had it all ready to go the next day and the battery is still running today and I finished the job. ... show more

Poor design. Lightweight, yes, but handle disproportionately long to size of machine, making it paradoxically harder to maneuver than my larger mower. There is no leverage for turns or angles. And a LOT of plastic around the blade, especially in front and back, making it impossible to get close to anything, leaving wide edges to be cleaned up after. I got it for paths on a hill, but will get rid of it (and my $300, sadly) and go back to my 20". And beware the height adjustment, which set at three inches cuts at one. Might be okay for a flat perfectly square yard. Two stars because the blade does cut. ... show more

cut long grass pretty easy used to get under trees that riding mower cant get stong power for long grass.ran for about 8min battery was still full charge. dont use bagger or mulch just open the door to clean grass clippings out.Wish had side discharge

My electric mower was heavy and the cord was always in the way. I’ve only used this once, but it was a joy to mow the lawn. This is relatively light. It’s compact. And it’s powerful. I had no problem even though my lawn is hilly and was about 8 inches tall. I put it on the highest setting. A single charge did my nearly quarter acre.
