  • Good choice for smaller applications
Size: 16" (4.0Ah)
Pretty good! We have a smaller yard and I wanted and electric to reduce room as you can easily pick up/wall mount when it’s not being used. Pros: light, easy to use, cuts well at all settings. Blade is easy to remove/place. Cons: blade holes that mount are proprietary so you cannot put another type of blade on (mulching). Blade does seem to not keep a sharp edge very long so you will want to sharpen after each use. Conclusion: if you have a smaller yard, this is a great choice of mower. The cons are outweighed by the ease of use, battery life/charge speed. Bag assembly. ... show more

  • 5/5
Size: 16" (4.0Ah)
The media could not be loaded. This mower exceeded my expectations. It cut through all the grass with ease, even thicker areas, without any issues. The power is impressive for a cordless mower, and it feels very reliable during use. What really stood out to me is the battery life — after finishing my entire lawn, I still had battery left. That’s a huge plus and makes it very convenient. It’s also lightweight, easy to handle, and much quieter than gas mowers. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful and efficient lawn mower. ... show more

  • 10,000 sf yard uses at least two charges to complete.
Size: 21" Self-Propelled (5.0Ah) + LED Lights
It will work for a medium size yard with a little care. It is better for a small yard. I found that I have to have the blade set at medium so as not to challenge the motor/battery on long grass. The battery at 40v runs out pretty quickly and even faster for long grass. I did 3/4ths of my yard today and still need to finish the rest tomorrow. It cuts nicely but runs out of juice too quickly. I was hoping to do the whole yard with one charge but I need three charges to complete. My strategy going forward is to mow half the yard. Put the spent battery on the charger and work on something else for 2 hours. Then go out and hope to finish the other half. Assembly: Assembly was pretty straight forward and simple but the handle was a bit of a challenge because the side that has the power lines attached would not fit into the opening. I had to use the bolt to pull the sides together in order to get it to fit into place. Once that was inserted I removed the bolt, pushed the handle fully into place and then inserted the bolt and tightened where it needed to go. The right side went in without any trouble. Battery: The battery came with only a very low charge. So be sure to charge the battery first. Upon my first mow I had the mower set pretty low and it was being strained more than I realized. The mower shut off and the battery overheated. I was concerned that this would not hold up for me. The charger lights up red if the battery is too warm for charging. So I had to let the battery sit for 45 minutes. It then lit up "flashing green" and started charging. On my next mow I set the mower higher so as not to tax the battery as much. This really helped a lot and I was able to mow a good section of lawn before the battery was exhausted. The mower is lightweight enough that for some of the lawn I didn't need to use the propulsion. The back wheels tend to stay engaged and not roll smoothly after using the propulsion. I overcome this by letting off of the propulsion and pushing forward a little and this sets the wheels free so that when I pull back they roll back smoothly. update1: I love it. It is now three months later and it is pretty wonderful. I just had to get used to how to mow with an electric and be prepared to recharge the battery. Now that I have mowed the lawn a few times I wish I had purchased an electric mower years ago. My lot is 10,000 sf and I do have to charge about 2.3 charges to complete. I just plan ahead. Mow, charge, go back and finish as much as possible. Next day I wrap it up and leave the partial charge for the next time I have to mow. If the battery holds up for a long time it is excellent. I make sure I run the battery completely down and then recharge completely. It is great to be able to just go an mow at the push of a button. No fuel needed, no oil changes. Quieter by far and cuts great. I let go of the propulsion a few feet from the end of the row and that releases the propulsion engagement and it rolls freely. It is so light weight that I could mow the entire yard without any propulsion. If you need more power buy the 80 volt. I have a gas mower that needs repair and now I don't even need it. Update 2: I love this mower now. It held up well all year. I mowed 17 times this year with this machine. I plan on purchasing a second battery so I can finish the yard and not have to wait for a recharge. I plan on buying more electric powered machines because of how well this machine worked for me. ... show more

  • Great battery mower!!!
Size: 16" (4.0Ah)
Have had this mower for several months now and am ready to offer my opinion ... I really do like this mower!! This is the first battery operated mower I have owned and was a bit worried when I bought it. We have a little over a 1/4 acre and our yard is mostly flat. Have had many gas powered mowers and was ready to try the battery craze!! And, I'm glad I did. The mower operates smoothly - is very quiet and light weight. Glad I did not opt to spend the extra money on self propelled. One battery will usually do the whole yard - about 35-45 minutes of run time. The height adjustment is easy - the few controls are easy - the whole process -- easy!! Loading the battery is simply. No vibration. No running to get gas in the can. No gas can in the garage. Very simple to operate and own. Does a nice job of cutting. I do the mulching option and will eventually try the bag just to see what it's like. Bought several other tools from this company and am happy with them all - and having extra batteries (the one battery fits all is a MUST and really works well). The only negative about this mower is the size - I purchased the smaller 16" cutting path and, although I really don't need bigger, it might save a little time (ok, just being a bit lazy to be honest!!). I would recommend this mower and this brand. Make sure each tool uses the same battery - just a suggestion - because it makes life easier with 3 batteries - there is always one charged and ready. (I also bought the weed eater and blower for those curious) Great product and I only hope I'm still this happy with it next year and the year after ..... happy mowing! ... show more
