This is an ok kit to have around the house for minor jobs or small weekend projects. It's by no means a daily use set, or even something to tackle larger projects, but it isn't a throw away set either. The most useful non drill tool (because drills are always useful) to me is the oscillating multi tool. Until you have one (even a cheap one) you don't realize how useful they are. But guys, come on, let's stop throwing flashlights into these kits and counting it as part of a combo. Why would I want to give up an entire 24v battery for a flashlight... As a whole though I have to say this is a pretty costly set for the quality of tools they are.

These tools are a bargain when collared to the big brands (yellow and red I’m talking about you ) after getting treated very badly by one of the biggest toolmakers on the planet, I decided to switch over to somebody else who would not deny me service and would not send back my drill in a Ziploc bag constituting if 150 pieces. (This is what happened when I sent in one of my drills to the red and Black brand) As far as usability goes, I cannot see a difference whatsoever between the other name brands and these, as a matter of fact, I think they run even quieter. I have waited quite a while to do this review because I wanted to put them through the paces and take them with me in the field during my Electrical calls. What I have found is, that most tradesmen have been overpaying for power tools, all along, all because somebody says they need a certain brand or one is more popular than the other. But I’m here to tell you that this brand doesn’t pull any punches, these tools are just as good if not better than some of the other others I’ve had. The battery life is amazing, they are great quality and they are super durable having survived multiple drops off of ladders and off of scissor lifts. Crawl under crawlspace, and attic, leave them in the hot sun, and they are still going strong. My favorite tools out of the bunch are the oscillating tool and the impact driver, as they get the most use, but it came with a circular saw and a work light. Another side feature of these is that you can use the batteries they come with as emergency power banks for your electrical devices, there have been so many times where I was 30 or 45 minutes away from home and I needed my GPS, but my phone was dead and I didn’t have a car charger. These batteries hold a really good charge and the small one will charge up an iPhone significantly. Summary: give this brand a try, they will not let you down and they are not underpowered, they are just as good if not better than all of the other ones that are more expensive. I will be sticking with green works from now on.

This set isn't going to compare to professional tools, however, not everyone needs professional power tools. It's actually a surprisingly good entry-level set for occasional projects. It was higher quality than I expected for the brand and the price point. It has the basic power tools that a homeowner or light hobbyist would need, and it won't break the bank. The circular saw is small, but also light, easy to use, and quiet. The brushless motor is the way to go for circular saws, and this saw actually is nicer to use than my heavy old corded one. It made quick work of a project I was working on. It has a blade break, so no waiting for the blade to stop. Has ability to bevel cut. For a entry level set this saw is pretty decent. The oscillating tool is comparable to most other standard oscillating tools. It's easy to handle, not too heavy or awkward. There's adjustable speed. It's quieter because it's brushless. This is also an upgrade from my very old name brand oscillating tool. It's entry level, but honestly not too much different than other base level name brand tools. The drills are just average. They work fine and will be handy for small home projects. I don't think that either of these would hold up to any amount of heavy use though. Out of all the tools in this set, these are probably what I would upgrade first for more than light use. That said, they do work, and are still better than no-name drills that I have encountered. These would be more than sufficient for typical homeowners projects. The flashlight isn't the greatest, larger than it needs to be for the amount of light it produces. Has a cheap feel to it. I'm not sure why they put this in the kit to be honest. It's not really why I'd buy a toolset anyways. What I love about this set is it packs away small and light, and the batteries are rechargeable with 65w USBC. No bulky charging station to lug around or to forget at home. Even if you do have professional power tools like I do, this makes for a convenient travel set or a set that can be borrowed to friends and family who you don't want using your good tools. In my opinion, Greenworks can sometimes be hit or miss with their items, but they have a winner with this set.

The GREENWORKS 24V 5-Tool Combo Kit has honestly been one of the best bang-for-your-buck tool sets I’ve picked up. If you’re someone buying your first home or just starting to build out a basic tool collection, this kit covers pretty much all the essentials without spending a fortune. Instead of buying each tool separately, you get everything bundled together in one system, and it all runs off the same batteries which makes things a lot simpler. One of the standout parts of this kit is the battery system. It comes with both a 4.0Ah and a 2.0Ah 24V battery, and they charge with the included 65W fast USB-C charger. What’s really cool is that these batteries can also be a power bank for your electronics, so you can actually charge things like your phone or other devices directly from them if needed. It’s a really handy feature to have, especially when you’re working somewhere without easy access to outlets. This kit includes five different tools, which makes it extremely versatile for home projects. The drill/driver is great for everyday tasks like assembling furniture, hanging shelves, mounting TV’s or drilling into wood and drywall. The impact driver is perfect for tougher fastening jobs where you need extra torque, like driving longer screws or working with deck hardware. Then I remembered I had the flashlight sitting in my tool bag from this kit, and it was a huge help in that situation. Overall, this combo kit is a fantastic starter set. You get the core tools most homeowners will need in the drill, impact driver, saw, multi-tool, and flashlight plus 2x batteries, a charger, and a tool bag all in one package.
