  • Exceeded My Expectations ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Size: 38''
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Purchase! I am extremely happy with this folding bed. It is very comfortable, and the mattress provides excellent support for a great night’s sleep. It folds up easily, is very simple to assemble, and when it’s not in use, it stores away neatly and takes up very little space. The quality is outstanding, and you can tell it’s built to last. The customer service is also first-class. I highly recommend this product and would definitely buy it again! ... show more

  • I like it. Just one hiccup.
Size: 38''
Very nice product, for a 5in memory foam mattress it's comfortable, assembly was easy other than on step one I ran it to a support hole that wasn't tapped, I had to run to Tractor supply company and get a metric tap set for $15, it's a 6mx1.00 fine thread tap for anyone else that has that problem othe than that it took about 25 minutes to get it together, seems strong and sturdy, as far as cheap easy affordable bed with convenience and prices this is it.! ... show more

  • Great mattress once assembled, but beware mis-drilled parts
Size: 38''
I got tired of buying new air mattresses year after year due to cats and who-knows-what-else causing leaks. Foldable memory cots finally came down in price to almost match a nice air mattress, so I bought this one (38" wide). The price was great, and shipping was quick. Installation was a little trickier than I anticipated. First, it's hard to get the wheels mounted since you have to hold the wheel straight up and down while also holding a thin flat wrench steady while also using the allen key to tighten it all down - three hands would be helpful for the wheel installation. The worst part, however, was at Step 5 of the instructions - also shown at 2 minutes and 45 seconds into the installation video that was provided via QR code. One of the 4 knobs could not be screwed in because the round tube that sits within the squared frame rail was rotated 90 degrees from where it should have been. This meant that the pre-drilled hole in the round tube was not facing the hole in the squared rail and could not accept the threaded portion of the knob. Making matters worse is that the square rail has a threaded nut welded to the side, and that is the only threaded portion for the knob - the knob screws into that welded nut and passes through the squared tube and into a larger hole of the rounded tube that is nested within the squared rail. It was maddening seeing the nice large hole in the round tube facing the wrong way. I ended up drilling a smaller hole into the round tube by carefully going through opening of the threaded nut - but you have be careful not to hit the threads of the nut or else the knob won't have a way to stay secured. Once I got a slightly-smaller-than needed hole in the round tube (which took a long, sweaty, time to do) the knob still would not break through. The hole needed to be a little bigger. I did not want to ruin the threads on the nut (or the knob), so I stopped trying to increase the size of the hole (i.e. angling the drill and other methods). Also, I could not find the proper tap/die size, or I would have just done that. Ultimately, I used a Dremel tool to shave down the end of the knob so that it was slightly conical. That enabled the end of the knob to go through the threaded nut AND the hole I'd drilled while also grabbing the threads to fully screw it in. If I hadn't been somewhat handy with tools and unwilling to return it for a replacement, I would have been very disappointed. I'd give 3.5 stars if I was able (due to the pre-drilled hole being misaligned). But, it seems to have worked out, and, installation issues aside, I'm very happy with it. It folds up nicely, and I really like that it came with a slipcover. (Oh yeah - the 4 velcro'd straps on the mattress that are used to secure it to the frame are larger than the openings in the frame, but you can still stuff them through the frame openings and stick them to the mattress.) Glad to be done with air mattresses for my kids' sleepovers! ... show more

  • Easy to assemble
Size: 38''
I needed a spare bed for weekend visits, but we just don't have room to dedicate an entire room as a guest room. I've researched Murphy beds, and if I could pay thousands for a solid wood version, I would. Alas, I cannot. I also cannot make myself buy a particle wood Murphy bed that would bow, break, or strip at the hinges. Then I saw this type: metal, foldable, can roll away into a closet when not in use. And it is significantly less expensive, too? All right! This bed came packaged well. The hardware was separated and each part was labeled. Excellent. The instruction booklet, which I always read first thing, was simple to understand. The instructions specify two people are needed to assemble the bed. I am impatient and did not want to wait for hubs to get home, so I decided to go it alone. Having finished assembly in approximately 20 minutes, I can confidently proclaim: No. Two people are not needed. I couldn't even name a step in the assembly process that would have been easier with two people. I *will* tell you that the instruction booklet would better serve if it advised hooking the two ends together upright with the closure strap before tightening the four knobs to hold the head section and foot section into the middle section—if that metal frame comes unfolded and crashes down on your head, you could be seriously injured, because the frame is not lightweight junk. One other thing about the manual, or maybe it's about the listing or the bed itself: mine came with two locking wheels and two non-locking wheels. Nowhere is it mentioned that all four wheels are not the locking type. Therefore, the instructions do not mention where each type should be attached. Logic dictates both locking wheels should go on the same (head or foot) end's bar, I think. The mattress is so thin right out of the plastic, but the listing and several reviewers say it will expand in time. I lay on it as a test as soon as I put it on the frame, and it wasn't luxuriously comfortable, although even with it being compressed, I could not distinctly feel the bars beneath me. The size of the mattress is a bit narrower than a regular twin, judging by the fit of the mattress pad and fitted sheet. The length difference seems maybe a bit less pronounced. In a few weeks when this mattress has had time to fully expand and the bed is used, if it is inadequate, I'll update this review, but as of now, I think it will be fine. ... show more

  • Defective and likely used. Frame misaligned, impossible to assemble. Hard mattress.
Size: 38''
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the item received (Greenvelly Folding Bed 75" x 38") and to request a resolution for its return and full refund due to the following issues: Condition of the Product (Likely Used/Returned Item): The item shows clear signs of having been previously opened and returned by another customer. Manufacturing and Assembly Defect: I am attaching detailed photos showing the structural defect that prevents the bed from being assembled. In the comparison image: Top Photo: It can be clearly seen that the inner circular tube is shifted and pressed against the upper wall of the rectangular metal frame, removing the necessary clearance for the connecting piece to fit. Assembling it would require mechanically forcing the metal frame. Bottom Photo: Shows the correct alignment where proper spacing exists around the inner tube. Due to this alignment/welding flaw, assembling the frame is impossible. Mattress Quality: The included mattress does not meet basic comfort expectations; it is extremely hard and uncomfortable. Return Logistics Request: Since the bed frame cannot be assembled due to the structural defect, and the mattress came vacuum-compressed (making it impossible to re-compress into its original shipping box), please advise on the procedure to coordinate the pickup/return of the item under these conditions and process a full refund. I look forward to your instructions on how to proceed. ... show more
