The instructions were well written for the most part. I put the cover on myself even though I have troubles with my legs. Problems and suggestions. 1. The injection molding connectors are not precise but what can you do for $89. Since I was putting it up a steep hill in our woods, I carried the frame in pieces. Since I was putting it over an already going bed, no choice, to prepare for winter, I could not step inside the greenhouse. And thus once the cover goes on, well, it’s difficult. 2. As soon as I find my yellow stakes shown in the instructions, I will replace those useless stakes. 3. Before putting on the green cover, double check to see if the bars are completely shoved into the connectors. Tight. There is no slack in the cover. 4. Next find the door and put it where the corner shelves connect with the A connector. Assembly was a breeze. They got that right. Good start. 5. Now orient the door correctly and the unzip it. Then put the door side on and gently pull the cover over the frame. Put weights of some sort on the flap. I use bricks. I just did all this so I do not know how well this mini-greenhouse works. LAWD, fall and winter give people the blues. My husband is an outside guy, so i got this to give him something to friggin do this winter. He has it full already and it's working, temp stays up and he's out of the house. Ladies, give them something to grow and turn them loose. You'll have to GO SEE every day when you get home, but you just nod and say WOW a few times. Would purchase again and again ... show more

When I opened box it was a bit overwhelming. However, I proceeded to inventory the pieces and go through the booklet step by step. It took less than an hour to assemble by myself. As other reviews stated, do be sure the rods are in the brackets all the way. Most do go in, but an occasional rod will need an extra push. I did NOT need a mallet or any other tool. The plastic cover went on nicely. It fit perfectly in the spot where I wanted it. Since a cold front just arrived it is doing a great job protecting my herbs and tender plants. This greenhouse is excellent. A small parts issue was resolved with courtesy and speed and I was on my way to assembling a greenhouse. It was actually fun to do! My suggestions for the easiest assembly are to lay out the parts in numbered order, and to use a rubber mallet to ensure a good tight fit of the joins (as another reviewer commented, there is definitely a big difference in a perceived ‘fit’ of the joins and the actual fit. That’s why I started using my rubber mallet-there was almost an inch more insertion space where I thought I had installed completely. Guess that’s why the cover went on very smoothly and I did it with no assistance). Finished assembly is nice and sturdy and I expect years of service from this greenhouse. The goal was to keep our cacti warm this winter when the temp dips below freezing. This little house will do nicely. We left two of the shelves out so we could put taller cactus in that side of the house. No loss of stability or strength leaving the shelves out. Very happy with this product. Perfect so far! I was able to assemble it myself in about an hour and a half, including reinforcing the shelves with cable ties and getting the sides weighted down with big landscape rocks. I've added a couple weights inside on the center bars since taking this photo. I screwed a hook into the deck on either side and used that to tie the ropes down from the upper corners. The provided rope doesn't seem very strong so I'll probably buy some stronger tent tie-down straps and use those instead. When assembling, make sure the poles are inserted completely into their connectors. At some points I thought they were fully pushed in and they weren't, resulting in a difference of an inch or more - which is, I suspect, why some people report trouble getting the cover to fit over the frame. You can really increase the size of the frame by inadvertently not pushing those pipes all the way in. Once I had them all fully seated, the cover slipped on with no problems - not even tight, no pulling anywhere. It sits perfectly around the frame. I've got heavy landscape rocks sitting on top of the outside 6 inches of tarp that overhangs the sides. Once I added a few zip ties to each shelf to hold the wire shelving to the frame, they seem decently sturdy. We haven't had bad weather yet, but it seems like this will stay put with the weights I've put inside on top of the frame bars and outside along the sides, as well as the tie-downs. The door zipper seems sturdy and I've had no issues after a week of zipping and unzipping it. I'm 5 foot 6 and have to duck a tiny bit to get in the door.
