I bought this for my granddaughter - this is the second type of cash register we have bought for her and this one adds some additional elements - learning opportunities as this is a real calculator too. This keeps us busy playing for a really long time and always have a blast. If you are on the fence about buying this, just buy it - it's super fun for all.

This product came in a box that was taped together (possibly returned by another customer?) Opened the box and the play coins and money are missing.

My kids really like playing with this toy cash register! The calculator buttons work and the scanner beeps when you press the button. It also comes with paper money and plastic coins.

I got this cash register as one of my daughter’s Christmas presents. I opened it just to get an idea of the quality of the product inside. I thought it was strange how it’s packaged. Everything is loose in the box so I didn’t want to pull it all out and then not be able to get it back in and wrap it. I did see a couple of the food items. They are small and clearly cheaply made but most items like this are. My daughter is not picky about toys and I can tell she will love this. We will be playing “store” for several hours on Christmas Day. Edit: Had to come back to increase the number of stars for this product. My daughter absolutely loves it and as expected, we did play store for hours on Christmas Day. And the day after. And the day after. The cash register is actually pretty good quality and I’m impressed by the value for the price. I decided not to deal with the money included in the box, but she didn’t even notice it missing as we just pretended to hand each other money. The drawer functions and opens as it should and the buttons and scanner make the appropriate beeping sounds, but what really intrigued my daughter was the microphone to “make store announcements.” One con I will note is that the hoder for the scanner kept falling off. I’m not really sure what the thought process was as far as why it shouldn’t just be affixed to the register permanently, but it’s not. Easy fix with Gorilla glue though.

This is a great toy to teach kids about money, transactions, and all. It’s funny that currency is in euros. Cash register itself is a calculator, and each items that have buttons will show values when pressed. The scanner is fun and beeps. Don’t think the microphone works but just for pretending. Drawer pops out when button pressed. It comes with a basket as well as different grocery items such as bottle of water, carton of milk, condiments, vegetables and a whole plastic chicken. It’s very interactive and fun for kids and adults to play together.

This was a gift for our 4 year old son. He loves it. Its easy to use. He loves the beeping of the scanner. It comes with a basket of food/drinks. The money was not what i was expecting but its still a nice gift for kids. The coins dont really indicate what value they are so this is just for fun not a learning toy at all if you are trying to teach them about money. It also has a credit card and bills, all for fun. The calculator actually works. IMO - It is a little overpriced what what it is.

Overall this is a good pretend cash register. It is purple and white, with working lights and beeps. Our microphone did not make any noise, but that may be a good thing. The scanner has a red light and beeps, the cash register buttons can be used as a calculator, and there is a scale for weighing. The scale (does not actually weigh items) has produce buttons that beep and show different numbers in the display window. I love the credit card scanner that beeps when swiped. Overall size is app. 9 inches by 6 inches, this is not very large but good for a child. Also included is play coins and paper money (euros), a credit card, small shopping basket and play food. The extras are small, and not detailed, but I bought this for the cash register, which runs on double AA batteries (not included). One minor detail, all the beeps are the same tone, would have been nice to have different beeps for different actions. Overall I liked this, will be giving to a four year old for her grocery store. She loves purple.

This small cash register toy is fun for young children to engage in pretend play. My grandchildren like the attached scanner the best. The child presses the button on the scanner to scan each item as they load it into an awaiting basket or bag. The scanner lights up and an audible “beep” lets him know the item has been scanned, similar to real life. The little “scale” and its categories pictured on the buttons encourages children to categorize types of foods (vegetables, meat, etc). If the cash register is not in use, it automatically shuts off, saving on battery life. You will need to be aware of the tiny screw on the battery compartment because it is very small and detaches completely from the toy when opening the compartment. The cash register keeps an electronic tally of the grocery total and the play money cash drawer and credit card/slot are fun for pretend for children 5 yrs and older. The cash register does not take up a lot of space and can be easily stored in the box it arrived in.

The register that comes with this seems to be of decent quality but all the additional items are very cheap and probably will not last long with kids. The register though does have a "working" scanner and the register makes all kinds of sounds. Our daughter loves it at this point in time and I am sure that she will continue to enjoy it.

Smaller than I expected. The plastic feels a little cheap, it’s basically a glorified calculator which will come in handy later on. The buttons and scanner produce sounds and one tone each. My daughter loved playing with it so I’m glad we got to try it. I don’t think the quality and size were worth the price.

This is featured as an "extra" large cash register. Upon opening I was slightly disappointed that it wasn't bigger, it seemed like a standard size. The register is sturdy and all the components work. It is a little loud and does not have an option to lower the volume (so keep this in mind because you will hear non stop beeping). The accessories are okay, a little small in my opinion. I did have an issue with the play money. When taken out of the packing, the edges were sharp on the coins. I had to use scissors to trim each coin. Overall, this is an okay product. I am more of a critic than my kid who is enjoying playing pretend cashier.
