Bought this because it was recommended for one of those mattress in a box I bought here on Amazon. I finally got rid of my box spring and set this up. It’s intimidating because of all the pieces, but actually really simple to put together, and I’d assume if you have to move it. It’s basically just assembling the outer frame by putting their edges into slots and pounding them in with the included rubber mallet. Then using the screw nuts to fasten the two sides together in the middle, then the slats just slip into grooves. At first I thought the slats would be flimsy and not supportive but after a few nights sleep on them, they’re not. I will say it added quite a bit of firmness to my 10” thick queen mattress, but not in a bad way. I prefer it. It’s tall enough to store things under (assuming they’re like less than 6” high), but not so tall it’s uncomfortable to get in and out of. I’m most happy at how sturdy and silent it is. I used to have a wooden box frame and it was super creaky and obnoxious, even if you’re just rolling over or getting into bed. This is far more supportive and makes zero noise. It’s also rated for like 1200lbs or something so good for big folks. First couple hours after unpacking had that sour metal oil smell… but it went away. No parts had grease on them. ... show more

really like this frame. my son has another one that has extra pieces on it , somehow a part broke, now he can't put body weight on THAT part of bed anymore. mine seems solid ! no extra parts. also my mattress is a chatham wells twin [VERY HEAVY,THICK ] + i weighed 250lbs last october when i bought this frame and my mattress. all that weight was Never a problem for This frame. added bonus is it's 11 storage space underneath. i'm 5'3" and climb easily into bed. i wanted to get a 14" underneath so i could stack 2+2 underbed storage as i am in a small room But it had moving pieces AND a weight limit ... show more

Edit: This company has been very accommodating and customer service is amazing! I am 8 months pregnant so I was worried about what to do since baby girl will be here very soon, but customer service reached out to me and made it right. Just waiting on the screws to arrive and the frame will be up. Overall it is a very sturdy frame and is heavy duty. Being pregnant I don’t want to take any chances getting on the frame in case it starts separating in the middle, so once the screws arrive I’ll be able to finish putting it together, besides that this bed frame is five stars. I was sent 2 packs of b screws and am missing the a screws. I can’t finish putting the bed up until then. ... show more

This bed was super easy for my husband to put together. Very sturdy and does not squeak or make noise. I’m a big girl and my husband is not small either. We have at time all the kids climbing sitting on the bed and no problems. Would recommend.
