I bought this over a year ago for the windows in my wildlife rehab room. The 2 windows are each 48” x 58” and the afternoon sun makes the room really hot even with curtains. I thought it was going to be a major project and kept putting it off. Last week I decided to go ahead and install it and I have to admit it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Since I had to do it by myself I used a small piece of double stick tape at the 2 top corners and sprayed a lot of the soapy water on the windows. After I got it lined up on one side I just kept spraying soapy water on the film and smoothing out the bubbles. When I had everything the way I wanted it I trimmed it with a razor knife. Honestly that was the hardest part because the razor didn’t cut very smoothly. The tint was still very easy to see out and I noticed a big difference in the room temperature and glare reduction that afternoon when we get really strong sun in there. I’m completely satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend it

Overall, this is a decent solution. I put it on my car windows. I have cut and applied non adhesive tint before. The other tint I used stayed on the film paper which made it easier to cut and handle. This tiny comes off the paper which made it a little more difficult to handle. That may have been my fault because I wasn't used it. The tint adhered fine with soap and water. It dries clear but you can see stress marks in the tint which does lead to small distortion when looking through the tint. I'm pointing out some negatives, but overall I am pleased with the tint. It was enough to apply to all 4 car windows and I am pleased with the performance and way it looksm I would by again.

The film was easy to install but very difficult to trim the excess once installed on the window. There is a very little bit of distortion, but not noticeable until you get right up to the window. That's why I would not recommend this for auto windows. Easy to apply and installation was very easy. The only problem that I encountered with this film that was different from other brands was that it came rolled with a paper in between and there was no protective film that had to be peeled away, so lint and all types of debris could get stuck on the film unless you washed it really good prior to fitting it to the glass. Lot of soapy water used.

I bought this window film in 50%. I expected to receive a quality product for the price, but this film was just overall sad. I'm mostly upset that I spent upwards of 2 hours out of my day installing this, only for it to be extremely cloudy and now not able to be returned. The film is so defective that trying to look out through this is dizzying. Full of odd lines and ripples, etc. It isn't an install problem or a case of needing to let it dry, as the rabbitgoo film I applied to my other windows turned out beautifully(and still remain beautiful). I would avoid this film and by no means would it be safe to use this for car windows. I'm not sure if this is a batch specific issue or if it's all bad, but the film I received was highly disappointing and completely unusable for its intended purpose.

August 31, 2020: I bought this for my car instead of my home. I bought my car with all but the driver and passenger side tinted (stock). I decided to add something to keep out the summer heat and for sun protection. I think I bought the 50% tint to make sure I was still within legal limits - this worked great. I wasn't sure if this would be enough for the summer sun but it was. If installed correctly, the film is pretty clear but not perfectly clear like you would get from professional film and installation. There's very little blur and once it dries (using spray technique), it stays on really well when rolling windows up and down if installed on the inside of the window. The next day at lunch, my car was barely warm doing all the usual of cracking the sun roof and adding the windshield shade in addition to the added tint. Believe it or not, the tiny made a difference. The car is usually in need of cooling down at lunch but I didn't feel an urge to immediately turn on the A/C. I drove a bit without the air conditioning to see if it was tolerable and it definitely was. I was able to do it myself and my sister liked the results enough to want to do the same for her car. I highly recommend purchasing an installation spray kit for this because it will make the results so much better than if you don't. I tested dry application and alternative sprays (not installation quality) and both were sub par; you may end up getting bad results like other users without the installation spray kit. I would recommend this. If the results change, I'll update the post. Jan. 12, 2023: Still holding strong without fading, discoloration, or bubbles. Haven't had to replace it once.

Recommend getting this. With it being static cling, it's much easier to install. Just be sure to follow the directions. It is a thicker material than most but it really does its job. It blocks the heat out well and trims up pretty well. Helps with cooling costs on a home that gets full sun. Only negative I have is that it has streaks in the film. Thought after a few days in direct sunlight, they would go away, but they don't. It has a bit of a blurred view when you look out the windows.
