we bought this in preparation of this years Hurricane season (2020) with the way thing have gone in the first three months and the fact this is supposed to be a busy season I didn't want to take any chances after Irma, we were without power for 2.5 weeks. so we decided to look at generators and I'm happy with this purchase. We needed something to run our freezer, refrigerator, portable A/C, and C-PAP machines. This generator works well for that. After assembling the Generator (wheels, Handle bars, and front legs) I added Oil and gas and let it run for about 5 minutes, and there were no issues. I then turned it off and hooked up both freezers, the portable A/C, and C-PAP machines and ran everything for about 10 minutes to test with no issues. I didn't measure our total watts, but the generator didn't skip a beat. So far we are happy with this purchase, the price point was excellent and I'm happy with the build quality. ... show more

I just received the Green Power GPD 5000 W Generator today (01/26/21 at 4:30 PM. The driver tried to carry it to the house instead of using a dolly. He dropped it. He did trip on the sidewalk but he had a hard time carrying it. It is a nlce generator though. I was very happy to see it is 12 volt, 120/240. I guess I didn't pay attention. But a pleasant surprise it is 240 V also. Hopefully nothing happened when it was dropped. More when I get it all set up and running. I know I'llget alot of use out of this ... show more

$299 with free shipping for a 5000 Watt Generator. It is more than a good price. Set up was easy, and she started on the 2nd pull. Don't get me wrong, you can buy a much nicer unit. But for my needs. this will suit just fine.
