I got this as a present for my bestie. Her atrium was getting chilly once temps started to drop this fall. Heres to hoping it helps the plants through fall! The shelves were super flimsy so we used our own rack on one side.

It is a nifty greenhouse with plenty of room inside but does not feel as if it has a big foootprint on my deck. Zippers are good to keep animals out at night. Growing wheatgrass and microgreens. All needed parts like shelf holders were included.Good value for price.

The media could not be loaded. My daughter wants to learn planting. She is 13. I did not want to invest in a huge greenhouse or anything expensive. So, we opted for this. I remember that it came in a box. We got it for her birthday in the fall, then she didn't touch it until late winter/early spring. She spent a couple of hours putting it together. It has not blown away or fell apart, but she did use a rope to pull it together on one side. For someone exploring a hobby, this looks good. Simple to put together. I had it outside against the house with steps on one side. We tied it to the steps and a post. We also put cedar blocks inside across the bottom poles (3 on each side). It was put up in March in Michigan (zone 5/6). We had a lot of rough, windy storms and it has stood up perfectly. It’s now approaching the end of May and we will be taking it down shortly until next year. The things I don’t like are that because we really needed to put it close to a building it doesn’t get as much sun as I would like. The plants still got more sun than they would indoors. It was nice to be able to put the plants outside as they got a little bigger instead of the dining room. There were a couple nights that we ran a heater in the greenhouse and we never had a problem with it getting too cold. I kept the seedlings indoors until they were at least an inch or two tall. Not crazy about the door but it works, just kind of annoying having to roll it up. My husband wants to take it camping as a pantry. I’m sure it would be nice for that although I don’t think the shelves are great for heavier items. If whatever you put on them is large enough to cross the two rows of poles then it’s fine but if something needs to set just on the shelf then the shelf will sag and I don’t know how much they can withstand. I am 5’2 and I had a ton of room over my head, just had to do a little bend when walking in. Another thing that I really like about it is that it is great to able to toss things inside that you don’t want to get wet like our patio cushion. I kept all of my gardening tools and seeds inside. I hung the seed packets inside ziplock bags with badge clips which I hung on the poles with zip ties. Worked great. I could use a larger greenhouse but for it being my first one it worked out fine. This is a very useful thing to have especially in the northwest where the weather likes to have several false springs. It has saved several of my plants. It's really easy to assemble. I held the frame down with landscape staples. The plastic with some wood lying around I didnt both with the external ties. It has held out very nicely against some windy storms even though it's not on even ground. The shelf clips are awesome and there definitely should be twice as many, but it somehow works. Made for holding trays since heavy pots are too much for the shelves. I just placed heavy items on the floor. Height is good ( I'm 5 6") I used it to protect from cold rather than start seedlings. ... show more
