Works great for Guinness. Guinness cans give you head but it’s not as creamy as when poured using this device. Nitro surge isn’t sold in the US yet but I can’t imagine it’s much better than this. This is a glowing review, but I did not receive any compensation for this review or anything free for that matter. You've got to get one of these. I am a hardcore beer geek. I especially love British cask ale and prefer using a sparkler. For those of you that know what I am talking about, you will appreciate this device. It takes any canned beer and pours it like a cask through a sparkler. I took it to a party the other day and someone said "Wow, it is like you poured a nitro beer." Yes it does 100% resemble a nitro pour if you start the device at the beginning. The marketing and instructions basically focus on just using this to add a little foam to the top of a beer. Yes, that works really well too, but I think they are missing out on how great a "nitro" pour it can do for any beer. That should be the selling point. One other positive to note. The device comes apart for cleaning very easily. There is a magnet that holds the two parts together. It never feels loose or flimsy, but you can quickly slip the two halves apart and rinse the part that touches the beer. One slight change I would like to see. Move the activation button to the left side, instead of directly in the back. Yes, in the back works ambidextrously, but it would be slightly easier to push (for right handed people) if it were on the left side. (Don't worry, it is not a big deal.) I would like to see this same manufacturer to make a version for bottles. Currently, I just pour bottled beer into an empty can and then pour it with this to make a cask/nitro pour. That works, but I would prefer a purpose made device for bottle tops. There is another product out there that has an extension that makes a can sort of look like a bottle, but don't buy that one. It is 1) harder to clean 2) can't just slip it into a pocket like this one 3) looks kind of stupid. All in all a great device for the beer geek in your life. I really love it. ... show more

I'm not going to lie, I was shocked that this thing worked. I ordered it as a last minute stocking stuffer and found out that every beer can we've put it on pours out tasting like a nitro. The only thing I will add is that it doesn't fit on all cans but as long as it's a standard size, you are good to go! ... show more
