Ok, so lmao, back in the day we had to go out and buy mattresses and box springs, I waited to comment to have a chance to test the box spring, this product made me giggle as I was putting it together, a box spring in from a box, this product came really quick, the packaging was sturdy, tight and all the tools I mean everything was in the box just as advertised and it was easy for the screws to fit through every hole easy, I purchased a queen and mine is all good I took the mattress off the other day just to peek at it, and it's still as firm as the day I assembled it, it doesn't make any noises, its still balanced and very sturdy after 8 weeks or this product is a very well put together good buy, smh lol who came up with this one, just all around unique. ... show more

Seems like a good product, but there were some issues: Delivery driver left it without even ringing the bell. Guess he didn’t want to be bothered setting the heavy package inside for a disabled woman. I had to leave it outside until my husband came home but I guess it was too big & heavy to steal LOL. The color was a silver woven pattern that’s not even a color option. It looks like fabric from a man’s tie. It’s not ugly but it sure doesn’t go with our decor. Not even a little. Luckily I found a black box spring cover for less than $20, and it arrived next day. Putting it together is a 2 person job, and the wrench included is a joke. I highly recommend a socket wrench with deep/long sockets. The bolts for the frame are too long for standard size, and there are 16 for a king. I struggled with a standard depth and had to use an adjustable wrench to finish tightening the nuts. Also highly recommend a drill driver to screw on the slats. I lost count, but there are 4 per slat for a king (easily 40 screws). The driver had it done in 10 minutes. Lastly, the cover is really hard to fully tighten. It’s really a bit loose after struggling with it, but the stretchy boxspring cover I put around it makes up for it. All in all, it’s not bad. Quite heavy for a box spring, but I think it will last.     • A good Box to hold a mattress
I have a back problem and need to sleep on a hard mattress. Mattresses made with springs and or memory foam don't work so my preferred solution is to use mattresses made up with hard PU foam. I also try to select Spring Boxes that contain no springs and provide as much aereation to the mattress as possible. While metal boxes are interesting and were considered in my decision, the fact that they are built with narrow pieces of metal create a problem that the foam is deformed by the narrow metal support surfaces. This Box provides the best alternative of matress aereation and support. Assembly is very easy and can be done quickly, provided one has an electric screwdriver. ... show more

I had great hopes that this platform would work for my twin bed frame that requires a 39 inch platform/box spring. This is advertised as being 39 inches wide. It is actually barely over 37 inches wide. Unfortunately, it's a return.
