We purchased this because the pediatrician said our newborn wasn't gaining weight fast enough. It has been so reassuring to weigh him a couple times a day to watch him grow and report back to the pediatrician. We've even used it to do some weighed feeds to see how much breast milk he's taking in at a time. The app is nice except there is a bit of a lag between when you weigh baby and when the weight pops up on your app to be recorded. You've got to give it like 10-15 seconds to come through. Love that the app has the integrated WHO percentiles so we know where he's at developmentally. Also the scale is incredibly accurate. My husband actually purchased calibrated weights to check the accuracy and it's dead on. Would recommend this to anyone that needs to track their infants weight.

I purchased this scale when I brought my brand new baby home and he wasn’t gaining weight as expected. It was such a relief to be able to weigh him once a week to make sure that he was getting what he needed from me as well as meeting his weight milestones. Our lactation consultant also suggested that we use this before and after a feeding or two to see how much breastmilk he was taking in. This really saved me a lot of anxiety and stress during that time, and I’m so happy that we purchased it! Side note: so far this scale has been exactly the same as our pediatricians. I also love that we can show our pediatrician the app to show weight gain etc.

This scale is way better than that one with the elephants on it. My wife hated that one and complained all the time. I got her this one 6 weeks ago and haven't heard anything but how great it is. She uses it 4 to 5 times a day. From my mechanical background, it's just a quality product. You can tell when you get it out of the box!

***Most scales are not going to be 100% accurate and the going recommendation is to find one that is 7% or less inaccurate- which this scale was for us! We tested this by measuring bags of rice, flour, and gym weights. -Assembly: DOWNLOAD THE APP FIRST for instructions! -Packaging of the scale was very nice and attractive and the box was easy to open. -The app is easy to use and very helpful (spend the extra $10 for this bluetooth feature- it saves time, which is increasingly important while we have a newborn). -Tip: lay a blanket down and zero it out so your baby or pet is more comfortable.

I really like this scale - it is accurate and easy to use. The only con is that for a Bluetooth scale I would hope that measurements would be saved each time you weigh your child - automatically. But it isn't. You must have the app open, and then click Save for the measurement to be added. If you wait too long to open the app, you will have lost the measurement. This is a serious deficiency and not what I expected from a Bluetooth scale.
