I am very pleased with the scale! I wanted it to keep track of my baby’s weight and breastfeeding milk transfer weight. It came with bonus features beyond my basic needs too! PROS: ✅ Nice design, light weight, compact and easy to assemble. I didn’t even need to read the directions to figure it out. ✅ Batteries are included! It takes 2 AAA ✅ The part that you add to the scale to weigh the baby (the baby tray) has curved sides so that baby is less likely to fall off ✅ The scale itself can be used to weigh Mommy up to 220 lbs. I also used it for my toddler! I didn’t own a scale before this one so it’s nice to have this feature. ✅ Easy to to switch from lbs to ounces (or kg). It measures pounds up the the tenths place. Example: 11.3 lbs ✅ It has a tare feature so you can add a blanket to the scale and zero out the weight before adding baby! ✅ The baby tray has a ruler on it so you can measure the baby’s length. (I haven’t really used it though.) The baby holder can help keep baby in place if you wanted to use a cloth ruler. ✅ The packaging is very nice and giftable. It has a carrying handle on top. The inner packaging protected the product during shipping and is mostly paper-based. Only a few thin plastic bags were used to prevent scuffing. It comes with directions and other product info from the company. ✅ The baby scale can be packed up and stored back in the box easily without trying to cram it back inside in some random configuration you can’t figure out. ✅ The brand itself seems nice with CONS: (These are minor and did not affect the number of stars I rated it but worth mentioning) ⛔️ The scale must be placed on a solid surface like a hardwood or tile floor. It will not work on carpet. I tried it on the carpet and in order to keep the product light weight, it just won’t measure accurately when placed on fluffy carpet. ⛔️ The instructions and other printed materials do not have good English. They’re mostly understandable but I see that as a minor negative for the brand itself in its presentation. Overall I like the brand but this is my critique. ⛔️ I personally did not care to see a baby’s bare bottom on the packaging but that’s just me. I would have liked a diapered or otherwise clothed baby as the main photo featured. Again, this is minor and did not affect the number of stars I gave it.

I bought this because I'm a first time mom breastfeeding and I wanted to know exactly how much my baby was taking in and also to make sure she was growing at a good pace. We are 5 months in and I still use it weekly and find it to be very accurate. Just make sure you're weighing on a flat hard surface otherwise you won't get an accurate reading. There is a hold option to get a stable reading on something that is moving (like a baby wiggling) but I find this to not work super well and just pay attention to what the scale is reading. There is multiple modes for measuring weight based on what you're using it for, and can weight down to the OZ or grams. You can also take off the baby pan and use it as a regular scale. Very useful for weighing babies/animals especially since it can be converted to a regular scale.

I purchased the MomMed Baby Scale after having my baby in September. The feature that I love most about this unit is that it has a sturdy plastic tray that clips together in the middle for weighing your baby, infant, or toddler. Once the tray is removed you can use it as an adult scale, and since it snaps apart in half; it is small and easy to store. As far as accuracy, this measurement is spot on and it adjusts to different units. I also appreciate that it has a long battery life. My only suggestion is maybe going up to the 29" size for weighing bigger toddlers if necessary.

The weight readings are accurate but the attachments to the scale make it wobble if what you’re weighing is not perfectly centered or moves. I bought it to weigh our cat, who of course doesn’t sit/stand perfectly still, so the scale is regularly tilting to one side or the other, making it unusable. To remedy this, we’ve had to put the cat carrier on top of the scale and close her in there to get a measurement.
