I’ve had this thermometer for about 4 months now and I have 3 little kids so it’s safe to say we’ve used it a lot. To start with the good, I like the concept of being able to switch between checking the forehead or the ear temperatures. But the good ends there. I notice my child is feeling feverish, I grab the thermometer and I check their temperature. I always check at least twice. The thermometer will give me wildly different readings within seconds of each reading. For example, based on real life scenario, the first reading via ear said 98.9. My child feels warmer than that so I check again, same ear, within moments of first reading, second reading says 100.6. I triple check this time on the forehead, third reading says 102.7. It has been this way every single time we’ve used it. I have no idea what my child’s actual temperature is and I can’t find any middle ground when the thermometers readings vary by 2 degrees. I do not recommend this thermometer and regret ever buying it in the first place. ... show more
