  • Great product, the suction can get stuck
Color: Blue
This is the second nasal suction we had to buy. The suction itself is great, but the plastic attachment gets stuck to each other and it becomes impossible to unscrew, thus you can not clean it. Be careful when assembling UPDATE: The seller was fantastic to work with!

  • Nice product just wished it was stronger
Color: Green
This was our savior for like a year. My son started daycare @ 6 mos and was sick for like a year. (Exaggeration but that's what it felt like). It was really easy to use when he wasn't very mobile just yet. I always put it on level 3 just for a fast use. Lights and sounds really got his attention and he lied still for us. Then when he started moving more, it got harder to use. He didn't like having this in his nose. My husband had to hold his head still while I did the suction. What I didnt like is the tip came out really easily especially when my son would turn his head away. As far as suction, it worked great but I do wish it was a little stronger so I didn't have to stick it in his nose as long. But still did the job. I recommend cleaning it after each use though. I made the mistake of cleaning it the next day and snot kinda ran down to the insides of the shaft. (I know- gross). So I cleaned it after each use after that. Use rechargable batteries if you have them - I feel like with so much use, it really drains the batteries out. Now that my son is two, he sometimes will pick this up himself and try to suck his snot out when he has some. He now is back to letting us use this on him because he enjoys the lights and sounds. ... show more

  • Reliable and works well
Color: Blue
This is a good aspirator for my daughter, who is one. We got it when she was about 6 months and it definitely helped a lot. We were using the bulb aspirator but couldn't get much out. This gets everything out. It's strong enough to get the gunk out but doesn't hurt her. It's a little bit of a pain to clean but we're happy otherwise. ... show more

  • It sucks ... all the snot
Color: Blue
Product is absolutely fantastic, have recommended to (and bought for) all our friends/family with kiddos. Strong suction, easy to clean, song and lights a bonus for our son who is currently obsessed with pressing all the buttons on all the things - he even suctions his own snot out occasionally. Clips that hold the suction bin onto the main body broke after 19 months so there was no way to use it anymore. Sent an email and the company was so kind, helpful, and VERY prompt with a replacement. We registered the (original) product as soon as we got it and after sending some info and pics to them, they sent us the newest model which was received in 2 days (upgrade to rechargeable option vs. batteries is fantastic). Buy it ... it sucks (in the best way). ... show more

  • Baby Registry Must Have!
Color: Blue
We had the nose frida with our first baby but thought we'd try this electronic nose suction with our second baby. WOW! What a difference! Below are the advantages of the Baby Nasal Aspirator: - the suction is gentle but effective! Our son hardly knows anything is being done to him with the nasal aspirator whereas the nose frida is pretty invasive and a bit of a startling experience for baby. - quiet!! I have to admit that the suctioning sound made by the nose frida is really satisfying, but it ALWAYS made our babies cry! The nasal aspirator is as effective as getting mucus caught in the nasal cavity out, but it's all you hear is the gentle humming of the aspirator rather than the loud sucking sounds. - one-hand use. This is a pretty big one. With the nose frida, it was pretty much a two-person affair, especially with an older baby who will roll/thrash wildly/etc. The nasal aspirator is so gentle that it's easy to use with one hand while cradling your baby in the other arm. The buttons are placed PERFECTLY on the body of the aspirator so you can easily manage them with your thumb or index finger. There's no long tubing to monitor of kinks or to get caught in baby's arms/hands. SO much easier to use! - easy to clean. The narrow holes in the nasal aspirator are easily cleaned with a pipe cleaner, and the pieces are small enough that it's easy to reach into them with a small brush or wash cloth. Reassembly is also pretty easy - I only had to look at the instructions once and could remember how to do it each time. Plus, because your mouth isn't going on it at any point in time, there's no extra tubing or anything to wash out! - silicone tips are soft on baby's skin. I really appreciated this one. Not only is it gentler on Baby, but it's also a little flexible, making it easier to maneuver the aspirator around a little to get the right angle without applying unnecessary pressure on nostrils. - different tips for newborn. The bulbous tip is so great for a small infant. The tip is small enough to easily slip into the nostril while the big bulb prevents you from going in too deep! The tip of the nose frida is definitely harder to get into a small infant's nostril and would constantly slip out. - portable and protected in a case. Transporting the nose frida was really hard. You can't fold it because it'd create a kink in the tube, but leaving it to lay out long inevitably would mean it'd end up on the floor somewhere because it'd get caught on a blanket, sleeve, or other body part. The nasal aspirator comes in a really sturdy container with a plastic lining that houses designated, molded spots for the aspirator body, 2 tips, and tweezers, but you can also remove the plastic lining and use the container as a secure case for storing everything and additional tips. - no need to change filter. Only the tips need to be changed out, but they can be reused often as long as you clean them thoroughly and regularly. Overall, we much prefer the advantages of the nasal aspirator over the nose frida. This has become one our Top 10 Baby Registry recommendations to friends and family who are expecting! ... show more
