Purpose for Product: All of our mechanical equipment has multiple grease points that require daily maintenance. I am always amazed how many times there is just nothing at the grease port. The zerks will vibrate out and just disappear. Some actually get sheared off due to being in a very exposed area. Having a variety of zerks is a must. Product Inspection: Storage case has an orange plastic bottom containing the assortment. The plastic flip top box is clearly labeled with the contents. Storage case lid is very flimsy with a broken hinge. The grease caps are always a welcomed addition. Product Performance: Installed a zert into a grease gun and applied pressure. As seen in the photo the grease fitting responded as it should. Summary: These grease fittings appear well manufactured and do what they are designed for at a reasonable price point. It is so frustrating that in this product the bottom of the storage case is robustly built and the top is so flimsy with terrible hinges. The whole idea is have a handy assortment of fittings stored securely. Now I have to duct tape the box, find another box or try to mix them in with another kit. I know delivery is probably where the damage occurred but toughen up the box and protect it better. I am not going to penalize the product for the poor packaging, but they need to fix it.

If you have grease fittings on your outdoor equipment, These are very good to have around! I’ve had them break off or just stop accepting grease. Having this kit around is makes installing a new a breeze with a good variety of sizes too. The kit is priced very well considering what you might pay a shop just to replace one!

This is a nice assortment of grease zerks. It has all the common SAE and Metric sizes and angles that you'll most likely need. The case is pretty stout for the price you're getting this kit for and keeps everything well organized. The zerks are great quality and is made out of steel which is zinc plated.

This assortment of grease zerks covers about every size and configuration you would normally need. SAE or metric, and in straight, 45 and 90 degree configurations; about any need is covered here. The thing I noticed first is that the threaded shank is a bit longer on these than on what was left of an old kit of mine; I always thought the old ones were a bit on the short side with the threads but they worked so I didn't worry about it. These have a bit more thread so I think they will hold better; although there have been a couple instances where I was just able to get the old ones to fit in so these might be a bit long in those instances. These do appear to be well made; with clean well formed threads and good surface finish otherwise. The variety of thread sizes and configurations mean that this kit has the versatility to meet most needs without having to hunt, saving you time and money. No trips to the hardware store hoping they are not out of the one you need! This kit is a really good value if you have equipment that needs zerks; I seem to replace at least 2 or 3 each summer and when you add up the cost of gas, the time to go to the hardware store and back and the price of the zerks themselves, this kit is a great value. I also really like the grease caps that are included; I like to put those on zerks that are exposed to a lot of dirt and water to keep them clean and the grunge out.
