Got this for my father. The speakers and boombox are compact but the volume is still good for an apartment-sized home and for the price. It has several functions (radio, bluetooth, CD, and tape player), which was the major selling point for me. There is enough slack on the speakers that you can set them a decent distance apart if desired. I will say that it hasn't been the most intuitive for my father who is older and not the best with technology. You have to hold down on the power button to turn it on, and then hit the power button briefly to cycle through the function you want to use. The screen shows what function it is on but it's abbreviated, which confused my father initially. It comes with a remote too but you will need to purchase batteries separately, and we have not gotten around to that yet, so I cannot speak to the remote functionality yet. The cover/lid for the CD portion is transparent, which is kind of fun, because you can see the CD spin, but the lid is just on a hinge where you simply raise or lower it. There is nothing that clicks into place to tell you it's securely closed. That isn't really necessary; I just thought it was strange, because most CD players have a lid that clicks shut. This was probably a cost-saving measure on the manufacturer's part, but when the lid is down, the CD is protected, so it isn't an issue.

one part was missing, the cord from the stereo to the plug was not there. i had one here that works and set it up ok, i also had a part that i dont know what it was for, didnt work on anything. sounds great and just fits on my shelf.

I just bought this like four days ago when I took it out of the box it seemed cheap to begin with. I played it a CD it sounded great. but then the CD stopped like in the middle of a CD and also checked it on different devices and they played fine.. also ate 2 of my tapes. A tape never worked correctly. It crunched the cassette Oh right, it’s just cheap and not worth the money. It’s very very lightweight and that sounds good, but I would definitely NOT recommend to buy this.
