  • Great price but missing piece
Packaging looks like it was thrown out from the warehouse. Missing the pink sponge.

  • Pretty good kit... would buy again.
Picture is miss leading but I sort of knew that (update your pic!!!) 1 Bag, 1 Iron, 1 Multi-Tool, 1 blue scraper, 1 edge tool (flip to get different degree), 1 yellow scrub pad, 1 sharping stone, mine came with white wax (pink shown above), 1 black / 1 white PTEX, and 1 brush (has both nylon / bronze bristles). Likes: Multi-Tool seems of good quality w/ all of its bits stored in the handle. I really like the large scraper (very large / effective). The edge sharpener is typical / does the job. The iron is a step up from a cheap travel iron, heats up decently fast, and seems to work well (waxed about 5-6 pairs of ski's and did the job well). Cons: Brush is on the small size for being a "dual" purpose brush. I think i'd rather have two brushes of the same size 1 nylon / 1 bronze. It works but its somewhat awkward to use. Definitely good enough to get the job done. I wish the iron either fit into the carry case or had its own case for storage. Not a deal breaker but would be nice. I would say this is a buy if you are looking to get into hot waxing ski's / snowboards. I'm throwing in some kick wax into the kit w/ a cork to do XC / Backcountry ski prep, but downhillers won't need that. ... show more

  • Easy to use
This is easy to use if you know what you're doing. If not, you're going to have to search online for videos to help. These came without any instructions and the company does not have any videos showing how to use. I wouldn't leave the iron plugged into anything either - it feels pretty cheap, which is fine for what I needed it to do. Good value for the price paid. ... show more

  • Good package deal. Iron temp dial to real temperature is slightly ambiguous
Just got this set. Everything I got is what it seems to be. The brush is small, but I still found it to be just fine, you can separate the sides (nylon, brass) by just angling it slightly. Obviously a bigger brush is optimal though. The only qualm I have about this is the ambiguity on the temperature dial. The instructions do not exactly say how to operate the dial or it’s nuances, so when I initially turn on the iron at the recommended 140 F, the blue light never turns on. Leading me to believe it is already heated. Or not headed. The wax doesn’t seem to truly melt good until I turn it up past the temperature it’s recommended at. So I think that the temperature dial isn’t 100% correlated with the real temperate. So it’s just kind of a “feel it out” thing. Which I don’t mind, worth the money for the package. ... show more

  • Decent iron
I can't tell what temp it is.. so I have to adjust as I go.. so I don't smoke the wax..... but overall does a good job... did 3 pairs of skis and a snowboard thus far...

  • The kit got the job done.
The kit got the job done. The heat regulator on the iron isn't synced very well with temperature readings. I got no heat on real low settings. The kit is pretty complete. The iron does not fit in the bag and has to be stored separately.

  • Nice bundle for the money
However brushes are too small and therefore kind of useless - I ended up buying a separate brush - if i account for that perhaps this is not the best deal
