The catapult is fun, but the rubber bands will lose strength rather quickly, just by being installed in the catapult, and reproducibility isn’t great even from one day to the other. Other reviewers complained about lateral variability, but that seems fine. It’s how far the ball flies what decreases dramatically from one day to the next, which means that your builds don’t really work anymore unless you constantly replace the rubber bands. ... show more

I thought my grandson would get a kick out of this. It works, but the ball never lands in the same place, so you are constantly resetting. Save your money. I would not reccommend

The results with the catapult were not predictable. This is the only extension kit we own that does not work consistently. Recommend getting the Scoop instead, very similar but works every time.
