  • Amazing Ingot Mold
Size: 85x45x30mm
I use this for casting aluminum ingots and it works great! When I first started melting aluminum I tried using a cheap steel muffin pan but I had a very difficult time getting the metal out, I then moved on to a lost foam system which worked, but the result wasn't very clean ( due to jagged edges of the foam, sand impurities, etc. ). After a short time browsing amazon I came across this mold ( 85x45x30mm size ) and figured I'd give it a shot. To be honest I was impressed with the packaging, but was a little disappointed when it arrived and I saw how small it was ( Tip: measure a piece of paper and cut it to the dimensions you are looking at before you buy, that way you can see how big something is ). All of my disappointment vanished when I used it the first time and saw how clean the result was, it left a smooth and shiny surface, much better than the foam cut with a knife and came out extremely easily compared to the muffin pan. Tips: - The mold gets very hot, don't try to touch it while it's cooling, even with gloves on! ( Not like I would ever do that.... ) - Heat the mold before casting, I personally just set the mold on the lid of my furnace a minute or two before I'm ready to pour. My furnace is currently a carbon furnace but I have yet to see any damage to it. ( I wouldn't use it as a crucible in the furnace though ) Photo Description: The stack in the back is the ingots I've cast with this mold, the rest are some of my first lost foam castings, the only thing I've done with these is rinse them off and in the case of the foam ingots, scrubbed them with a wire brush to remove the sand. TLDR; Great product, would totally buy again. ... show more

  • Create Aluminum Ingots from Beer Cans
Size: 125x60x40mm
The media could not be loaded. I love the quality of these ingot molds. I've used steel muffin tins in the past, but these produce a much better looking ingot - very smooth and shiny on the bottom. They pop out without any effort. Very pleased with the quality of the product. If using a 5 kg. cauldron, I would recommend three or four molds (I bought three, but this was a small batch I was melting). When ready to pour, you can fill the three or four molds, then begin melting a new batch while those cool. When the next batch is molten the first set of ingots should be cool enough to remove from the molds. The surface of the ingots come out absolutely clean - unlike when I used muffin tins. Highly recommend this product. ... show more

  • Great quality and works great for my needs
Size: 125x60x40mm
Great quality and works great for my needs. Be sure to keep in a dry place. the carbon will start to leach out if you live in a high humidify area. I keep mine in rice when not in use.

  • Tough little Mold
Size: 85x45x30mm
Been doing sand casting but was hoping to save some cleaning effort for casting Copper Ingots for future use. Mold is clean and smooth and has shown no signs of deterioration. My only issue which is likely an 1D Ten Tee issue on my side is I get what looks like a discolored line in the middle in the middle of the Ingot and my pour method sucks but the mold itself is great. :) Going to order a few more as it fits my small Crucible and they stack nicely. ... show more

  • MINATURE INGOT: No bigger than a quarter wide. Dont be fooled by the large photo (See My Photo)
Size: 85x45x30mm
In the pictures, this thing looks like it would hold a quart of material and when I got it it was a miniature ingot for playtime. I have never seen an ingot this small in all of my life. Their pictures are quite deceiving. Save your money and simply get a Teflon bread pan if you want a quart size volume as they hold up for sometime. THE ATTACHED PICTURE IS WITH A REGULAR UNITED STATES QUARTER TAKEN IN THE PICTURE. ... show more

  • Exactly as described!
Size: 85x45x30mm
Be careful when dipping ingots into a water bucket- if the mold becomes coated in water and then liquid metal is applied it WILL BOIL! Very dangerous unless you go ahead smelting with caution. Great product though! Will use for the years to come.

  • Perfect for amateurs and professionals
Size: 85x45x30mm
Finally a mold that isn't for a tiny 1/2" bar. I took all of the frustrating little bars I had poured from the various misleading "best sellers" and melted them down into a nice 4 oz bar with this mold. As with molds of this nature, the bar didn't exactly want to cooperate in the exiting process, and the mold sustained a few solid blows with no visible damage. Produced a lovely bar. Couldn't ask for more. ... show more
