I absolutely love this set and will be purchasing many more pieces. The other so called nonstick cookware does not hold a candle to this cookware. I tested myself by “burning” things or trying to; milk, cheese, onions but this cookware did not scorch and literally wiped clean. I love to cook and am excited for this find. Update: I browned two roasts and then wiped clean. I tried to upload video but wouldn’t work. Love, love and Happy Thanksgiving ... show more

The material is like a cross between a granite rock and cast iron. It’s not nearly as heavy as cast iron, but it sure heats up like one! I particularly love the pots because it brings things to a boiling point MUCH quicker than my regular pots. The largest pot includes a steamer. It fits perfectly atop the pot, making it easy to store. As for the frying pans, it’s not as non-stick as advertised - BUT it does scrape off EXTREMELY EASY. Anyways, I do use a small bit of vegetable oil or butter to oil my pan – I don’t need to use as much as with regular frying pans. When cooking eggs, you really need to keep it on low or medium-low, because like I said, these pans are a bit similar to cast iron and heats up really well! They’re also about as easy to clean as regular pots and pans; I have no complaints here. I threw them in the dish washer once, and then now I usually hand-wash it. And since it’s pretty scratch-resistant, I’ve been using utensils to cook some of my food (like with a spoon, because I prefer using a metal spoon sometimes – it’s all about embracing available tools). I would not go crazy and try to scratch it though - it’s scratch-resistant; not scratch-proof. I have never had proper pans to “bake” in the oven with, so I tried it with these, and it’s GREAT! It’s such a versatile pan, that I may even bring it to go camping. What I don’t really like about it are the handles. They’re really sturdy, but it can get hot! It says it stays cooler to touch, but it still gets hot. For normal people like me who doesn’t have tough hands… I’d DEFINITELY use a pot holder to grab the handles with. Oh, and please note that these are not compatible with induction stove-tops! Excellent set overall! I didn't get this off of Amazon, but because it was actually such a great set, I wanted to share my opinion about it :). ... show more

Just purchased these to replace our ceramic-coated Simply Calphalon pans, which we really loved. So far, these appear to be as advertised. I cooked an omelet with lots of cheese as the first test, and the skillet passed with flying colors. The omelet slid right out of the pan, was fluffy and evenly cooked. Not a bit of residue was left behind in the pan. We made pancakes as well, with similar results. The nice thing is we didn't have to use oils or butter to prevent sticking. We were so impressed, we ordered the 12" skillet 48 hours later. I can't speak to the durability, but as the pans appear to be high quality, and the price for these pans is hard to beat. ... show more

    • Exactly What I Wanted
This product works as well as they advertise. I'd purchased the copper pans before, but they require "seasoning" like a cast iron pan. The graniterock cookware does not. When I received them, I simply washed them and began to use. The only discrepancy in what they advertise, but then advise against, is using sharp objects in the cookware - however on the television ad they show someone cutting a piece of steak with a knife in the pan - not something I would do anyway. In any case, this cookware is far and above the quality and usability of the copper cookware. I definitely do not regret purchasing the 10 piece set. ... show more

I can't begin to explain how disappointed I am with this cookware. I was in a hurry when I ordered it, and didn't check reviews first. At, I haven't seen anything this low quality for decades, and you know the moment you touch the piece. Not even interested in the hassle to return, donating to Goodwill... :-( ... show more

    • Scratch proof/Incomplete order
1) never received my single egg frying pan as seen on TV. 2) it says scratch proof. On TV a steak is cut right in the pan. The directions in the box say never use a sharp knife in the pan.? Which is it???
