I needed just a tiny bit of floof under my wedding gown and this worked perfectly. I added ribbon trim to the bottom as my "something blue" and I love how it turned out. Please keep in mind this petticoat is NOT going to give you massive volume under your gown. For that, you'll need an actual hoopskirt or a much bigger/fuller petticoat. I also needed to add extra elastic to the waist. My own fault since I've been burned by how weird Chinese sizing can be! I could have easily ordered a size down and been just fine. I'm 5'9" and approx 250 lbs for sizing reference. I purchased the 4x because i thought i would need that and it fits and stays up but it's too big, i definitely could size down one. i got this for a cosplay and am deciding if i want to exchange for a lower size or utilize a friend to help make it a little tighter so i don't feel like it could slip down. overall, the fluffiness of the skirt is nice, it helps make sure your dress doesn't stick to you when walking around. it does trap heat in so be prepared to be a little warm. it's floor length fyi! i could pull it up to my high waist and it almost hits the ground. ... show more

I got this petticoat for a Renaissance Festival. It's the perfect length and very comfortable with a lining to prevent chafing with the tulle and a stretchy waistband. The tulle starts at the right spot so it doesn't make you look wider/fatter. I recommend wearing with double layered maxi skirts/dresses or fabrics other than cotton 😅 otherwise some of the texture will show. I loved how this made my dresses look. I loved the feel of it, how it gave my dresses that extra poof, it's almost perfect. The problem I had, though, is the thick ribbon around the hem started coming undone and now I'm dealing with that after just two days of having this.
