I have a 32" inseam and this comes about to my ankles. It does run small. I wear a size 6 and had to get a size large. The multiple layers of crinoline make a good amount of floof - enough to poof out a skirt or dress without being unwieldy. It has 2 layers of ruffled crinoline over a satin lining (so you don't have the crinoline scratching your legs). It comes folded in squished into a relatively small bag, so it will need to be ironed. It took me about 20-30 min to iron all the layers, then it looked quite nice. You could def wear a gathered skirt over it that shows the petticoat. ... show more

I got tired of wearing mismatched outfits or old sweats on laundry day so buying this skirt during heat spell was very welcomed. I’ve only worn around house and neighborhood but I would wear this to town running errands and not feel so dowdy. Easy to wash and hang dry and actually haven’t really needed to iron as for now just wear it with flip flops and a tshirt. Fits comfortably. I bought a bit too smaller than expected but the elastic isn’t too tight and it still falls flatteringly so I would say it’s true to sizing. (To be honest I think I gained a bit lol) ... show more

Based on reviews I couldn't decide between the Grace Karin or the Shimaly so I have bought and reviewed both. I bought this petticoat in the 3X, White, option. I also bought the Shimaly petticoat in their XL-3XL, Ivory. I am 5'7" and they both sit right above my feet. I wear a jean size between 18-20, depending on the fit (I have wide, but very squishy, hips.). This Grace Karin petticoat was quite loose, and I should have gone down a size, maybe two. The Shimaly petticoat fit, but it was quite snug around my hips. Neither is very full - just enough to give your skirt some body or so your skirt doesn't cling to your legs. The Grace Karin has much softer material, including the lining, even though the lining ended several inches above the rest of the petticoat. However, the Shimaly petticoat has a crystalline fabric that I like - it also seems to have a touch more fullness when compared to the Grace Karin. Both have a wide waistband (Grace Karin 8", Shimaly 7") before the "petticoat" part starts. Both also look very lightly worn - as if they were used once and then sent back. One had a light dirt spot, the other had a few small hairs stuck in between the layers. Because both of these were so affordable, I will be keeping both. Fortunately, with the differences in sizing (my error) I can stack them and wear both at once for an even fuller look. I would caution others against planning on doing this - you might need to remove the lining from your outside petticoat to make it work. ... show more

Unfortunately, I did not end up wearing the petticoat for my event because it was too big. I recommend sizing down because I did not find the size guide and waist measurements to be accurate. That said, the petticoat was made well. It was of good quality for the price point.

I’ve never owned a petticoat in my life and don’t know why! It definitely elevates your dress/skirt and gives it that extra umph that makes it from flat to fab! This was super comfortable and made a big difference in my cosplay dress. It is sheer but not enough to display the goods and helped hide the goods without the need for shapewear under my dress. I stuck to my usual size and tbh I could’ve gone one size down but that didn’t bother me because I still felt so beautiful and true to character. ... show more
